I had a deeply uncomfortable and distressing experience at this Chemist Warehouse and have never witnessed this ever at any other Chemist Warehouse. I came here for the first time, after purchasing two bottles of Vitamin D for about $55-60, I was singled out and asked to show my pockets before leaving the store. To my shock, none of the other customers were subjected to this, raising serious concerns about why I was targeted. I can’t help but feel this treatment was biased and discriminatory, which is completely unacceptable. Of course I complied since I didn't want to create any scene but just saying that the Indian lady who's using the made up Aussie accent needs to grow up and stop judging people. Luckily the Indian guy was nice and really came up to cover the mistake of this Indian lady who I thought was superior to him. The management needs to think who deserves superior roles as the guy really handled the situation well. She needs a bit more experience before creating such uncomfortable situations with other people. Thankfully there are other stores in Geelong that I will go to from now on.

I had a disappointing experience at Chemist Warehouse Geelong yesterday. I visited to purchase a prescribed medication and encountered several issues:nn1. I provided my prescription to pharmacist Sakshi S, who asked me to wait for 10 minutes. Despite there being three pharmacists present and no other customers waiting, this seemed excessive.nn2. During the wait, I felt pressured to buy additional items from the store, which seemed more about increasing revenue than meeting customer needs.nn3. Sakshi S did not exhibit professional behavior or meet basic customer service expectations.nn4. She was unfamiliar with the prescribed medication and how to use it properly.nn5. She provided me with the wrong medication and, despite my correction, tried to convince me to accept a Chemist Warehouse home brand alternative. When I checked the product and discovered it was incorrect, she insisted that I had to purchase it since I had opened the box.nn6. When I asked for her name, she responded defensively, questioning whether I intended to file a complaint.nnI believe the Australian Pharmacy Council should investigate the practices of pharmacists like Sakshi S, who seem lacking in essential knowledge and customer service skills. Such experiences are concerning and undermine trust in pharmacy services.

We had a terrible experience in this store where an older male worker profiled us and made us feel very uncomfortable. He stared at and followed us while we shopped, following us to the registers while staring at our baby and into the pram. He walked to the other side of the registers and stared at us while we paid for our things. My boyfriend felt forced to hold up the items he was purchasing. Awful experience.

Something’s Not Right!nLast month my name was called to collect medication and shortly after another lady approached me and explained I had her medication and we had to get the pharmacist to correct it.nAnd again today I got to the register and medication had been added to my order that wasn’t in the box.nAnother gentleman at the register walked with me back to the pharmacist as his script was wrong as well.nHELLO! ALARM BELLS! Someone’s gonna get real sick or die from this incompetence.nFix it before it’s too late.

Service from pharmacists has dropped off this year, if you order on the app on the weekend expect to be told we dont look at it on the weekendnSo order well ahead of time, but still expect to wait 10 -15 minutes just to do the pickup.
