After some less-than-great experiences, which I previously shared with management via email, I had a really lovely experience yesterday. I was warmly welcomed into the store by a checkout staff member who was understanding when I accidentally entered from the wrong direction due to feeling tired and anxious. The young male pharmacist was bright, bubbly, polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. He did a great job processing my online script, and my wait time was only about five minutes.

Similar experience to other shoppers. Went for document verification. Was told and not politely to wait 10mins. Waiting area had rubbish on the floor, old chair with ripped fabric. Hardly a place for dispensing medication. Once called the entire transaction took 30 seconds. No conversation, no niceties. Will not go back.

Trip hazards, floors filthy and staff unhelpful and hostile when asking them about perfume samples. For a Westfield shop this is subpar below standard. Will be filing a report to head office

I had a deeply uncomfortable and distressing experience at this Chemist Warehouse and have never witnessed this ever at any other Chemist Warehouse. I came here for the first time, after purchasing two bottles of Vitamin D for about $55-60, I was singled out and asked to show my pockets before leaving the store. To my shock, none of the other customers were subjected to this, raising serious concerns about why I was targeted. I can’t help but feel this treatment was biased and discriminatory, which is completely unacceptable. Of course I complied since I didn't want to create any scene but just saying that the Indian lady who's using the made up Aussie accent needs to grow up and stop judging people. Luckily the Indian guy was nice and really came up to cover the mistake of this Indian lady who I thought was superior to him. The management needs to think who deserves superior roles as the guy really handled the situation well. She needs a bit more experience before creating such uncomfortable situations with other people. Thankfully there are other stores in Geelong that I will go to from now on.

I had a disappointing experience at Chemist Warehouse Geelong yesterday. I visited to purchase a prescribed medication and encountered several issues:nn1. I provided my prescription to pharmacist Sakshi S, who asked me to wait for 10 minutes. Despite there being three pharmacists present and no other customers waiting, this seemed excessive.nn2. During the wait, I felt pressured to buy additional items from the store, which seemed more about increasing revenue than meeting customer needs.nn3. Sakshi S did not exhibit professional behavior or meet basic customer service expectations.nn4. She was unfamiliar with the prescribed medication and how to use it properly.nn5. She provided me with the wrong medication and, despite my correction, tried to convince me to accept a Chemist Warehouse home brand alternative. When I checked the product and discovered it was incorrect, she insisted that I had to purchase it since I had opened the box.nn6. When I asked for her name, she responded defensively, questioning whether I intended to file a complaint.nnI believe the Australian Pharmacy Council should investigate the practices of pharmacists like Sakshi S, who seem lacking in essential knowledge and customer service skills. Such experiences are concerning and undermine trust in pharmacy services.
