I have been a Chemist Warehouse Eltham customer for years. The pharmacists usually tell me when my script is about to run out but last time I picked up my meds they didn’t. I called up today Sunday to ask them to dispense my medication and they told me I had no more available. I started to panic and remembered that around 6 months ago I had the same situation and they were able to give me an emergency dose. I asked the pharmacist if they’d be able to give me one dose so that I can bring my script in tomorrow because my psychiatrist doesn’t respond to me on weekends and they point blank refused. I pleaded with them because it’s very dangerous to miss one dose of my medication but they wouldn’t budge. I am no longer going to support them and I’m taking my business elsewhere
Reading through the reviews, I can attest to the staff being quite awful here. Zero customer service and the manager here is even worse than the staff. I've had a few issues here but will be lodging a complaint online. I encourage you to do the same if you have had a horrible experience here. Don't stay silent, speak up and hold these people accountable when they cannot do their jobs right or serve customers effectively.
I've been using this pharmacy for a very long time, and I know longer live close to Eltham. The whole team are just fantastic, store is looking bright and stocked, the team are always happy to help weather regarding scripts and medicines or make-up and baby products everything. My mother and I had a terrible customer service experience today and will not return to this store
I’m young and have never gotten a prescription for myself it was my first time since turning 18. So I was already a bit confused and nervous . I waited for my script and got handed the red bag . I was confused I didn’t have to pay and assumed it had been put onto my Medicare card . I walked out the store not looking at the bag out of nerves and wanting to get out of the already poor atmosphere this place has . When I walked out there was a clocked off older lady with short hair and she stopped me which is understandable of course but she showed the opposite of understanding towards me.I strongly believe this is because I have piercings , and my partner is covered in tattoos and is a person of colour . I was in my work uniform and explained to her I wasn’t trying to steal but she snatched it out of my hands and I had put personal scripts in there . She then took out my medication which was very personal and looked at it and read it and made out I was trying to steal . I felt extremely embarrassed and upset , paid for my prescription and walked out in tears . I’ve never had anyone accuse me of stealing and was expecting a bit of kindness and understanding considering it was clearly a accident … but got a violation of privacy instead . I was going to go back to complain to someone but reading the reviews the manager is probably worse than the lady I dealt with. This experience really ruined my day and I’m still in tears writing this .Horrible service no enthusiasm from any of the staff as well. I work retail and would never even think of serving a customer the way they do here. Will be getting my script elsewhere from now on that’s for sure . She also went and told someone about me , the whole situation has really knocked my confidence and made me and my partner feel like crooks for a simple mistake. She had no consideration for how I may had been feeling . The way she snatched a personal item out of my hands was just horrific I had no words .
