Today my husband had an unpleasant visit to the Bundaberg East store. He left four prescriptions and asked if two of them could be double amounts as we are travelling and get to some remote locations. These were the two critical meds to maintain his health if we couldn’t get to a chemist. The lady was very helpful and said he could have those two filled for an additional month. 45 minutes later we returned to collect the prescriptions. A different person served him, an English lady but only after she had finished talking to, what sounded like, a friend. She retrieved the prescriptions and my husband checked to make sure he wouldn’t get caught short only to find out the chemist did not give him the extra. My husband questioned the lady and she was abrupt and disrespectful telling him he couldn’t have two months not that she checked with anyone before snapping at him. Then she proceeded to say, “well you have a month’s worth” as if to insinuate you should be thankful for that. I must admit we were both a little stunned by the response and I just suggested we leave. Greg wanted to call the chemist down but why bother. Why would anyone want to give this Discount Chemist location their business. What happened to common courtesy in this business?
I phoned and asked if they had lulla gold soy formula was told yes went in not on shelf so asked the young male behind counter who was with pharmacy gentlemen I said I phone and asked for lulla gold soy but cannot see it he replie yes.we do have it lulla gold as he goes to walk.of I replied in the soy.he quickly swings.around and says you didn't ask for the soy I replied.a bit.annoyed oh I'm sorry but yes I did the older pharmacy looks.at me turns his head.and walks of....no apology nothing. I even asked my son who was with me when I rang did I ask for soy he goes yes you did mum but ut was young.fellas attitude terrible customer service
Wonderful and helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend and the parking is a lot easier! Medication similar price to my previous pharmacy the one that’s very hard to park at! and some as much as $10 cheaper per script.
Opening hours online are incorrect even though they said they had only just been updated! I now do not have essential medication over the weekend as they have my scripts on file and they don't open on Sunday! I am going to be changing pharmacy or at least will have to go back to keeping my scripts ar home because this is going to be pretty impossible to fix now!
Useless. Medication we can normally get over the counter back home “requires a script”. I am 5 hours away from home and the medication is for my 3 month old baby, yet they won’t even ask any questions or help in the slightest. Save yourself time and go somewhere else for better service.
We were very disappointed with the service we got here regarding my husband's CPAP machine. He needed a new strap. Little did he know that the one he was sold was a small size. His head is not a small size and once he removed the strap from the packaging it was obvious it would not fit. We took it back to the shop where staff were unsure if it could not be exchanged or credited and had to consult the boss. After three visits by us and a week of our waiting on a call which never came, they finally said it could not. Too bad. We won't be back.
I have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea. The staff at Chemist Outlet were simply magnificent. The overall experience was that the staff here could not do enough! They spent a huge amount of time and were meticulous and efficient in all that they did. Would recommend this chemist to anyone. Oh... and by the way the parking is brilliant!
Friendly staff and Andrew the pharmacist is really lovely. Makes you feel very comfortable. After having a bad experience at another well known chemist, I definitely have been impressed with the service
Slow service. Limited range both of both over the counter products and of prescriptions. The day I went with 4 scripts they were only able to fill one of them I will not be returning here.
Friendly, helpful and always welcoming.
