I am super impressed with the delightful service and AMAZING food here. We popped in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised over and over. Everyone was super lovely to my 2 year old who got two free babycinos. The food was delicious - the vege burger one of many vego options is tasty, if a little potato heavy, the lovebites sliders are a delightful mix of fish, chicken and pork, and definitely big enough to share; the "heart attack" lives up to its name, with deep fried camembert rounds instead of buns and a LOT of meat, and eggs; and, jalepeno poppers to die for. Oh, and the coffee is delicious and they'll make it however you like it.
Great place for lunch with the family. Quite and peaceful atmosphere to devour a delirious meal. We ordered the buffalo wings and the heart attack burger which lives up to its name.
I only go here for my steak Sandwiches. This is normally a lunch item and I came at dinner time and they happily made it for me when I mentioned it’s my favourite : I love the option of sweet potato wedges too
Pizza here is a little more expensive than a chain store but it has great service and the pizza is worth it. The lunch time hotdog is pretty good too and 4 dollar beers at always appreciated.
WOW! My partner and I got a supreme pizza with anchovies, it was absolutely amazing. The base tasted better than any other pizza I've had in Perth. The service was personal and great, the food came out very quickly and the general atmosphere was pleasant. While eating we read the menu and nearly every single item looked amazing! Definitely coming back.
I ate here celebrating a birthday with about 10 members of my family. The women at the counter were very friendly and welcoming, however, it quickly became apparent that there just simply wasn't enough staff to account for the customers. When we were shown to our table, there were no menus or water distributed among everyone due to the fact that they were understaffed. Eventually we had to get the menus and water for ourselves. There wasn't co-ordination between the wait staff and the pizza chef as the pizzas came out fast, but the kitchen food took around about 80 minutes for everything to arrive. However, this comes back to a poorly managed restaurant as the wait staff not only had to take orders and supply drinks, but also run the kitchen and cook meals at the same time. It was pretty blatant that they were stressed and understaffed, so I do not put blame onto them. One waitress even gave some complementary food for the long wait and did what she could. Overall, the food was great when it came out and service was also good. The manager needs to reflect on hiring more staff if they want to keep their customers happy, otherwise they should expect more negative reviews like this.
What an amazing little cafe, such a varied menu. With gluten free, vegan and gym options. I asked for a specific breakfast and they made it to perfection with a smile. Will definitely frequent this little gem, at night doubles as Chelsea pizza which I’ve enjoyed regularly at the Nedlands restaurant. Well done.
I would give a 0 if I could! Was extremely unimpressed with the food and service. The initial walking in to the cafe was fine however when we went to go and order our meals my friend was ordering the woman who served us didn't even address us or say hello but rather looked in our direction and said "yep?". Then we sat down the vibe wasn't amazing, no music or anything to listen to. Our pancakes came after about 15mins and they were dry with the tiniest bit of whipped cream, the best part of it was the strawberry on the side and even that was sour. We didn't get our drinks until about half an hour after our meal and even that was after complaining. Not impressed at all with the disgusting food, boring vibe and complete and utter lack of customer service. However on a side note - if your into hot green smoothies than this is the place for you.
Beautiful little Vic Park cafe. Food is fresh, clearly homemade, packed with flavour, healthy sized servings and the customer service is so delightful. Great coffee too! which is so hard to find in Perth! The owner does a lot of good for the homeless people in the area as well. If you go for breakfast - Make sure you get their hasbrowns!
I was hoping that the breakfast menu might get a refresh with the change of ownership but was disappointed. My eggs florentine was passable, but this place doesn't cut it with the other cafes on the strip. However the pizzas in the evening are amazing. It's like its 2 different restaurants.
