Story

Chatterbox is so good at making coffee we can do it while we talk. That’s why we’re known as much for our friendly baristas as we are our outstanding coffee. We work closely with our roaster to create a blend which uses only the finest micro lot beans available and reflects how much we know you need a great cup of coffee. We serve food too – tasty, tasty food – made with top notch ingredients and served with a smile. People work better when they’re well fed. Our catering kitchen is dedicated to pulling together the best ingredients to create delicious menu packages and platters and delivering them to the working folk of Belconnen and the CBD. We make it so easy. Coffee good, food nice. Sourdough came out toasted harder than bricklayers boots and was inedible. Ask for one slice untoasted so we didn't break out teeth on the wheat diamonds originally dished up. Said we'd have to pay for the single slice of bread. Bit odd. Not how I'd run the show.

Ordered scrambled eggs with toast and fresh orange juice. Food used to be really good here but standards have gone down recently. The toast was half done and the eggs were ok-ish. Nothing great. The seats and tables are all pretty filthy. Would not recommend.

Value for money and very tasty food. A stylish cafe that weekdays serves the offices above and around it but on weekends it perfect early start for families. Friendly and quick service, took a star for the coffee , while good not consisten across our order.

Good -Hot & tasty coffee. One of the best coffee in Canberra I guess. -Quality of lunch special is so good. -Fresh ingredients used. -Nice and clean interior.  Bad -Hard to find out parking place nearby. -Overall good quality of food but fried food is soaggy.

After being a regular customer to Chatterbox over the last few years I have to say today was my last visit. Appears to be new owners could be wrong?, table service removed so now you queue up with everyone in one place and a significant drop in food quality. Smashed acocado usually a avocado/feta mix now just sliced avocado maybe rename it as sliced avocado?. All of our tables avocados were brown and partially rotten. Poached eggs not runny at all. For the first time today our entire table didn't finish our meals. This review is lucky I can't post photos. Take care Chatterbox, time to find a new place i think which is a real shame
