So, we swung by Charlie's post Waiheke island exploration. Nestled across from the beach, it’s got both indoor and outdoor seating vibes going on. Live tunes set the mood in the arvo, drawing in a mix of locals and tourists alike, plus it’s pup-friendly – bonus points for that. The menu's got a solid variety, catering to different tastes.nnBut, gotta dish out the real talk: service was a bit sluggish. Orders got a little mixed up, and we ended up waiting longer than we’d hoped. Overall, though, if you're after a chill spot with good eats and tunes, Charlie's could hit the spot.

I had the tuna poke bowl though it came with salmon instead and it was delicious. Nice heat from the wasabi mayo. My partner and I split the Bounty for dessert YUM!!. Service was exceptional. Gorgeous views. I can imagine this place being packed in the summer but it was decently busy on a Wednesday night in autumn. Thank you!
