I come here everyday for coffee which I really like- they also have a great veranda out the back. Good selection of muffins and cakes and stuff - when these are freshly baked they taste good. I’d probably come here for food a bit more often but it’s a bit expensive for what you get. Overall though the atmosphere is great and they have Campos coffee which is my fave. Lovely workers as well!
Lovely place to stop by for brunch with good food. Came in during brunch time on a Monday morning, to a relatively quiet venue, though we stayed near the front rather than the busier rear area. Food was good and satisfied our wants for some good brunch fare with a slight twist. Although let down by the so-so service. It all seemed a touch on the slower side, but hey, Mondays...
Amazing view from the cafe. It's an old Queenslander that has been converted to a cafe. It was a lovely place and food was good too! We ordered Veg fry and Big breakfast. It was a bit pricey and was difficult to find a parking spot though. Everything else was great! Definitely recommended.
I went with a friend, we spotted a sign: wait to be seated. No one came, not even a hello/good morning from the staff. There were two girls behind the counter. Anyways, we order our drinks with the QR code provided at the table. It took almost 15min to get our coffees. It wasn’t busy at all at the time. And by the look of my cappuccino, it has probably stand a few minutes in the counter before someone take it to the table. I ordered the eggs beni, $4 extra to a croissant option?! Naw! Eggs perfectly cooked. But so much hollandaise sauce, not even a good one, maybe the Frenchmaid?! I always eat the food I order because I hate waste, but this time it was impossible. One star because it has a good view at the back, otherwise would be none.
I ordered the falafel bowl. Falafels were very dry not enough homous & too much black rice & flat bread. My friend ordered the savoury mince which came with hasselback potatoes. Potato was placed under the mince so didn't get that crunch he was looking forward to. Coffee was passable Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian options Parking: Parking on street
Nice little nook... The cafe has a small balcony with a magnificent view. Lovely place and delicious dishes A coffee shop I would make an agenda to definitely visit every week.
We went to Chapter IV this morning and it was lovely - the food, ambience, views, customer service. They also have a little corner play area for kids with lots of toys to keep them busy!
found Chapter IV on instagram and saw their beautiful view from a homey cafe and knew i had to visit!~ it was not very busy when we visited around 12pm~ staff are quite friendly and helpful!~ we chose a table on their balcony in the corner which was nice and quiet~ we ordered a hot chocolate and coffee milkshake for drinks~ both were pretty good~ for food we ordered their seafood feast pasta and mushroom cream pasta~ both were surprisingly really nice! mushroom pasta was lovely and creamy but not over creamy~ seafood feast had a number of different seafood within it~ the view from the balcony is lovely! incredible to eat and look out~ we had a couple of cute birds land on the railings and it was a lovely sight~ one thing i have to point is, their items are quite pricey, our total came to over $62, which i found pricey for a cafe~ but overall a lovely experience~ if you are nearby do give them a visit!
Cafe with a good feel. It's a good space with seating on small balcony with a view. Seating also outside on street. Cafe is predominantly made from timber, as an old building, so has that connected, earthy feel. Service was ok. Food very average. My son had a breakfast burger and it fell apart after a couple of bites. He said the construction and bread was wrong. He ended up eating it with a knife and fork. I had scrambled eggs which I suppose could be a test for most cafes. The eggs were scrambled to death! It came with toast and butter packs. I'm not a big fan of butter packs. I opened mine to butter toast and it was completely melted so had to pour it over toast like oil! In this area there are abundant cafes so competition would be fierce. It was still trading ok though so maybe I missed something. Doubt if I will be back.
Amazing view of Brisbane City skyline, great atmosphere staff are friendly and polite. The beverages and coffee are great. The food is fun, delicious and nutritious.
