Acceptable, but far from great. Cool retro-pop vibe. I am American and eat a lot of burgers. I've been coming to Changz on and off for the last two years, and I’d like to consider myself a burger connoisseur. I would have originally given them a four star rating, however, I feel that the quality of their burgers have declined since their inception. I like what they are trying to do, however, it’s just not quite right. Their menu is imaginative and clearly inspired by an American burger joint. While I love the style of heavy and intense burgers that they are offering, I don’t feel that they are meeting their potential. These burgers do not follow the traditional tomato, lettuce and onion formula, and fail to deliver the greasy and cheesy goodness that one expects when foregoing tradition. Overall, I think this venue has potential… however, as it stands, I would rather explore new burger places and risk being disappointed then deliberately choosing an average experience. I also note that their location is aligned with the style of their business. They would best be placed on Carlisle or Chapel st, where they would benefit from higher foot traffic and competition.

Excellent food and service! The fried chicken was super crispy and delicious. Also the bacon burger was perfect, ready for you to add your own sauce choice. Children were welcome too which made our dining experience a breeze. Just go there!

Awesome place haven't been in a while but didn't disappoint in terms of flavour. As a fellow hospitality worker, all I can say is don't have just one chef in kitchen and one waitress/bartender/dishwasher! Help these guys out

Small place but great value lunch box! Great service and the metal straw was cool!! Cheese croquette is a winner, I had a cheeseburger and added bacon. Good deal! Next time id try one of their chicken burgers! Only criticism would be the tables were very sticky and felt like they needed an intensive clean!

I've had the $10 lunchbox special almost a dozen times now and I've never been disappointed. Even now after moving back to Geelong I still try and find a reason to go to Changz. Any excuse to go to Melbourne to get this delicious burger and fries combo. Thank you
