Where do I start with this amazing restaurant. The entire visit was outstanding from the moment we arrived. We were served by a young woman called Sharnae, who talked us through the specials and was the epitome of who all good restaurants should have on their team. The menu was extensive and appetising. The food was simply amazing, colourful and delicious. The decor in the restaurant was on point and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant has something for all ages and tastes. I recommend Chang Siam Thai Restaurant and will visit again on our next trip to New Zealand I absolutely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed
First time trying this restaurant even after living in the neighborhood for a year, and I’m truly impressed. We went in here to dine-in for our anniversary and the place is very elegant and the staff was very professional. The food was relatively new to us, so the staff helped to pick some great dishes. The appetizers were great and the main meals were superb. No flaws in the food and the desert was large enough to share with two. We tried the salmon, and it was top notch. The GOONG HOM PAH, VEGETARIAN SUMMER ROLL, MACADAMIA CHICKEN, and the GANG PANANG was spot on. We will try other items on the menu slowly with time. The only draw back at this place is, the smoke from the cooking gets into the dining area and during the cold months the doors and the windows are open, so be prepared to get a little bit smoke, which is not too bad as the smell is just amazing. Enjoy your visit to Chang Siam, if you are in the area. You will not regret. .
I am a big fan of Thai Cousine, this place is divine. Ambiance is authentic, food is delicious, service is outstanding. Definitely recommend it and come back again to try other dishes!

We have lived in Kerikeri for almost five years and without a doubt Chang Siam is our favourite restaurant. Always delicious, more than you can eat, very reasonably priced and , not the least, service that is always perfect. The choice is huge: from curries to salmon to fabulous vegetarian meals. During Covid this fantastic place catered for every taste, not compromising in their care and attention. Thanks guys. Always such a pleasure.
Had the most amazing dinner here Tuesday night bought the family back for another night. The food was fresh hot and bursting with flavor. Meals were a decent size with enough left overs for tomorrow also. The host topped it. He was so funny and interacted with my kids who now call him Uncle Mike. As a solo mum with 2 young children it's hard going out for dinners but Uncle Mike made it so easy and comfortable. I highly recommend.
Had a visitor from over seas and they wanted to take us out for dinner as a thank you for our hospitality while staying with us in kerikeri. So we though were else than Chang Siam. and as we do eat there often so we knew it would be good ..But as always the staff excellent. food was amazing service first glass. and they were very busy. So all in all the best place to eat in Kerikeri... Big thank you to Mike and his Team .... John

I’m sorry for the 3 stars - I would have loved to give you 5 as your staff are all incredible/friendly etc. Unfortunately the food wasn’t up to standard. Ordered medium to hot- got mild- not even mild like no chilli at all. Ordered two of the chefs specials and a mixed entre - amounting to over $75. One of the mains was salmon with veges. The veges were cabbage with two small pieces of broccoli. Really disappointing. Have been going here for years on and off since 2017 and it’s certainly taken a hit downwards with the food. Hoping this feedback will help with getting the chefs up to where it used to be x
Nice food and nice place. It was much much better than what I was expecting. Tasty food presented very beautifully. Most food comes with fresh vegetables on the side. It's got good portion size, a bit too much for me, but I managed to finish it. It was that good.
