Zander & Jarrod's knowledge on PC components is second to none. They both took the time on multiple occasions to help me understand what parts would be suitable for my son's new gaming PC and helped me filter through the countless options. Zander & Jarrod also didn't try to sell me something that wasn't required and were super helpful at pointing me in the right direction. PowerColor Hellhound REVA Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB OC ReviewnnI upgraded from an RTX 2080 to this card and I’m extremely happy with the performance jump. The last AMD card I owned was the HD7970, so this really feels like a big return to AMD for me.nnI originally thought about going with Yeston for the waifu-themed GPU, but the Hellhound REVA won me over with all the extras that come in the box. The mouse pad, stickers, acrylic figures, and even the box art all look amazing. The artwork especially gives me that late 90s to early 2000s vibe, which I love.nnThe card itself looks great in my system, and Centrecom packed it very well. Shipping was fast, everything arrived safely, and I’m really happy I was able to get such a cool-looking card.nnAnother positive for me is avoiding the NVIDIA 12V power connector issues. I didn’t want to take the risk of anything melting in my system, so choosing AMD felt like a much safer option.nnOverall, I’m very happy with the card, the presentation, and the whole buying experience.
This was my third visit and I’ve consistently had a positive experience. They have options for different budgets, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Today Shaun assisted me with choosing the right laptop and made the process easy. Highly recommended.
1 Star – Centre Com Sunshine Is a Complete JokennI bought a ROG Astral RTX 5080 GPU from Centre Com Sunshine that turned out to be faulty from day one, the power pins didn’t connect properly, triggering constant warnings. Instead of offering a refund as they’re required to under Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods, they ignored my request and immediately sent it to the manufacturer without asking, claiming I had no choice.nnI did not pay good money for a repaired or refurbished GPU. I paid for a new, working product. Their handling of the issue has been a complete disgrace, vague timelines, no accountability, and no refund. Just silence, delays, and nonsense.nnTo make matters worse, the customer service in-store is shockingly bad. There’s an older man named Ray who clearly doesn’t care about customers at all. Every time I tried to speak reasonably, he escalated things into an argument and acted as if I was the problem. No attempt to help, just defensive, rude, and totally unprofessional. When I asked the manager for Ray’s full name to file a complaint, they refused to tell me.nnI’ve spent thousands at Centre Com over the years, but this experience has made one thing clear: they don’t care about you once they have your money. I’ll never buy from them again, and I’d strongly urge others to think twice before giving them your business.nnAvoid Centre Com Sunshine, they’ll leave you out of pocket, without your gear, and without any support.nnEDIT : I only received my refund after sending a formal letter stating I would escalate the matter to VCAT if it wasn’t resolved.nnFor anyone else going through this: a store’s internal policy does not override the law. Under Australian Consumer Law, if an item has a major defect at the time of purchase, it is not the customer’s responsibility to wait indefinitely or accept repairs. The seller has a legal obligation to provide a refund or replacement.nnDon’t let businesses hide behind “policy” know your rights.
