My wife parked her moped outside this shop in the car park and was shouted at by a man from this shop telling her, aggressively and abusively, to move her scooter from outside his shop. If he'd just asked her to move it instead of shouting she wouldn't have minded, even though scooter was in the car park and not blocking right of way etc. Appalled by this man's behaviour towards a young woman. Certainly won't be buying flowers here.

I came in at 4pm on a Wednesday with a last minute request for wedding flowers, to be ready by 9am the next morning!! After the initial shock, the florist recovered himself and talked about what I wanted, using the supplies he had left. The next morning I came and picked up the most beautiful short notice wedding bouquet anyone has ever had!! Thank you so much!

Would highly recommend Central City Flowers.  I went in earlier this week to find bereavement flowers for a friend.  The gentleman that served me was very obliging and asked me what I had in mind.  He then created the most beautiful posy, within my price range, while I waited (which only took 10 mins).  Was a little speechless when I saw the final product!

Would not recommend. Allan, I think his name was, the man who works there, was so fricken rude. I asked for a bunch of flowers to be put together to the value of $50. I asked for some specific flowers, that are commonly used, which they didn't have. So I chose some ones from the small range that they did have, and he had the audacity to say that they didn't go together. So in the end, when he was putting them together, (ones that I didn't particularly want) he didn't say a single thing, until he was finished, then said "70 dollars please". SEVENTY. Wtf, I asked for 50. So he charged me 20 extra, just to put them together. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND. 
However I would recommend Flower Bazaar, on Innes rd in Mairehau, which is owned by two men who are so lovely and friendly.

Fantastic flowers, fantastic service. Easily the best roses in town; wide variety of colors and all perfectly timed to open the moment you get home. They are long lasting, often surviving well for over a week without preservatives.

Newly renovated shop with a large and high quality stock. Takes the concept of a mall florist to a whole new level.
