I had nothing but an extremely pleasant experience at this bank. Went here with my partner to obtain a loan for our first home and was introduced to their experienced lender, Meredith. She was nothing but lovely, helpful, invested, genuine, and competent. She made our first home buying experience a breeze, and I felt like she was our friend. Highly recommend this branch and more specifically, Meredith. Thank you
I have lived locally for the passed 4 years and sadly for reasons confirmed with me today I don’t go into this bank I had to only because they have not answered there calls over the passed 2 weeks of me trying to call. Today the concierge approached my in an unfriendly and welcoming manner being unaware I was a commonwealth bank staff member for 4 years so I know what’s expected. All I wanted to do was set up a business transaction account as the bank was mot busy her first reaction was to tell me I can do it online I told her I do not want to do that then she said I had to make an appointment I informed her of the phone situation and instead of apologising as she is trained to she excused the behaviour so I told her I will go to another branch as I have been. Very poor form
Needed to get a withdrawal in specific currency. Teller said the computers were not connecting to head office. Was asked to wait. 15 mins later was asked to return to teller but was still unable to withdraw in specific denominations. After the wait and another five minutes standing at the counter, left the bank…empty-handed! Biggest irony? Had to wear a mask to get into the bank – and was then held up by the bank!
This branch is needed as how do we get on now that it has been temporarily??? closed. As a customer of the Commonwealth Bank for more than 50 years how are they going to service us now? We want an explanation not just a closed door.
Terrible customer service. Very insecure, they ask how much you're depositing and or withdrawing and if you ask to go to a teller they force you onto a smart ATM until you have to loudly tell them it's thousands of dollars. In a busy bank... How insecure. Then ask for personal details in earshot of other customers. Could have been robbed as soon as I left. Take it from me, go elsewhere. No respect for privacy or safety.
I was given their local ph. number 5471..... being a "Valued Customer" I have phoned twice and told by the answering machine they ""would phone me back today I'm aware of the 132221 number but I hate the run around you get when dialing that number. All other dealings with the branch have been great.
Atm ate my money when trying to deposit.. havnt got it back yet
Went their staff are so chilled and relaxed just like their atm machines.
Ask for Commonwealth bank coolum beach and i get put somewhere down towards marcoola
