Terrible, Unprofessional customer service. The first branch that I’ve ever been denied service at – despite being a Commonwealth Bank group customer, and the only branch or at any bank for that matter that I’ve ever felt unfairly and deliberately discriminated against! I definitely won’t be back and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this branch to any of my friends or family in Townsville.

I was with commbank since opening my dollarmite account as a little person. However, recently I closed my commbank account and divested my money to an ethical bank that does not invest in the fossil fuel industry. Coal is a dirty, polluting industry that contributes to climate change. The effects of climate change will be far reaching but notably for north Queenslanders our iconic Great Barrier Reef has already been 49% bleached. Stop funding this industry before it's too late!
I have banked with Commonwealth since i was a nipper but if Commbank continues to be the biggest funder of coal in Australia as it was in 2016, I will review my banking choice. Commbank could be the leader of local Solar Initiatives which is a no-brainer for Townsville with our 330 sunny days per year. Commbank! get with the future and make a stand for the Reef and renewable clean energy sources as all the other banks have.
Worst customer service in the town. This is the worst branch in entire Townsville. I been here two time and every time I been here the service is horrific and I have to go to stockland branch again to sort my issue. When I go to Stockland brach they are good and ready to serve customer. They are there to serve customer, but the people in city don't know what the heck they doing.
I've been with commonwealth bank since dollarmite and after 30yrs and anyone who is under the rich line should not go through this bank , there workers are mainly people who can't speak english and my bank account gets ripped every fortnight of 15$ because of a overdrawn account when in the past I've asked for overdraft so the fees aren't as bad but they refuse to as they are doing this my credit score is being smashed from it.
As a shareholder I urge you not to fund fossil fuel projects. I want my money invested in renewable clean energy sources as other banks have.
Went to open accounts after arriving in Australia. Service was great and quick. Myself and my partner opened accounts and were out in less than 20 mins
Gotta love the idiots that are spamming the poor branch with comments about things involving Head Office in Sydney. What have the branch staff got to do with it? Absolutely pathetic comments by Amy, Anu and Wolfgang.
They'll be a good bank if they stop funding bad fossil fuel projects. The real money's not there any more.
