In all my dealings with the bank I have always been treated respectfully and patiently. Today’s service was exceptional. Stood in line to ask for help. Was seen in under a minute. I was then provided with a capable, friendly and thorough staff member in less than half a minute. Issue solved. Thank you.
The staff at the front, they are not consistant with the information they give to customers. I had to revisit them several times because they gave me wrong information everytime. So I got fed up with them and wanted to close the account to move to other bank. They told me to wait at least 45 mins to close account. Ridiculous service. My family would not go with combank ever!
Entry staff who asks questions before letting people in have to be knowledgeable enough. I took my grandmom with a counter-signed cheque to be deposited to a different account. A young Asian lady in front, at the door even before reaching reception, asked me why I'm there and did not even make an attempt to understand my concern and just sent us away, my grand mom who's aged 90 years had to go to another branch to get this sorted. Wouldn't recommend banking here
I’ve used the ATM to make some coin deposit. The machine went out of order in the middle of the process, I can see there are some coins still in the pocket to be counted. Called the customer line, visited the branch and logged a dispute. Unbelievable the dispute has been rejected despite I have a photo clearly shown coins in there. Plus I’m sure they should have CCTV for the ATM. It’s so unprofessional and care of nothing about their customers.
I went to eastland shopping centre commonwealth bank to apply for loan, I didn't know how to go about it and what type to apply for as it was my first time. A lady attended to me first and asked me told me to stay on the counter queue to make an appointment as they were closing in 30mins. The ladies at the counter where so rude, they did not attend to me well after they open my account, they did not make me an appointment, they just told me straight they can't give me loan. I think it's because am black skin. I felt disappointed, depressed rejected and perplexed. I wanted to deposit the cash in my hand, renew my home insurance and open account for my new born as I have already an account for my two other kids and I put money every month, but I couldn't do all that because of the way the ladies spoke to me. I have been using commonwealth bank like 10years and Money go in and out of my account well until I took time off in feb to give birth. I really felt bad.
Tried to increase my credit card allowance and while the waiting wasn’t long for me, the staff who is young Asian lady was very impatient and rude whenever I wasn’t sure of my answer to her questions. I tried to show her my payslip document that has conclusion of how much I earned last year and she basically ignored it and just use a few of my fortnight payslips which wont be accurate so I don’t get why she couldn’t use my last year total earning instead. Of course then I got rejected for the application. She was rushing and got rude like she just wanted me out of there. Wouldnt come back for any important business to this branch. Just unprofessional.
went to this branch for closing all my accounts with comm bank. the customer advisor Ally who did the admin part to close my accounts was mildly rude throughout the process. I won't say Ally was extremely rude, but mildly rude and irritated for no reason at all. I wasn't rude to her throughout the process but she was to me. Only in the end I got frustrated with her behaviour and showed mild rudeness myself, but that was only because of her. It seems comm bank only cares for sales, when you go there to close your account thats how they behave with you. wouldn't even give 1 star to comm bank for this because Ally's behaviour towards me was totally unprovoked, but then Google reviews doesn't leave me with an option to rate her zero star
Slow service and really bad attitudes. Line was out the door & staff were unable to accommodate with the change machine.
Utterly useless, no tellers on a Saturday may as well not open at all.
Waiting over an hour and half, my name was not called at all. Then the customer service person tried to blame me for why I was "taken off the list" when I've been very visible and able to hear all these names being called. Very poor customer service and even if you have been with the bank for long, there are no extra benefits.
