The food was ordinary. We had a chicken wrap which had way too much sauce and as a result was a bit slimy and tasteless. We also had a burger which was also pretty ordinary. The shop is closed off and you order from outside which is unfriendly and unnecessary. Take away only. The other eating places in town were all high quality, so best just to avoid this place. It is worth the drive into Swansea if you are desperate for a burger or fish and chips.
Had it yesterday and won't ever be coming back. I guess people are repeat customers because there's no other options in the area. Food was so below standard, it isn't funny. If it was my "small family business" I would be ashamed to serve this food up. Brown chips? Maybe need an oil change. Suss tasting burgers. I'd seriously not let this stuff leave the prep station as it would be an embarrassment to the company. 0 / 10
With out a doubt the worst fish and chips I have ever come across in my entire life, I would avoid this place at all expense. The food was soooo over priced for the worst quality rubbish I have ever been served, chips where stale as if they had been re-fried a few times, the oil must be set so high that the fish cocktails we ordered where burnt on the outside yet the batter was still raw on the inside we ordered a dozen,not one got eaten, the calamari was processed rubbish not a sign of squid in sight, worse than the cheapest home brand frozen calamari. Spent $100 and we ended up dumping 95% bin didn't want to give neither the dogs or the seagulls food poisoning DISGUSTINGLY OVERPRICED DEEP FRIED RUBISH
This was disappointing and flavourless. Took 10mins before someone acknowledged us to place our order. Then told it would over 30mins for anything on the grill. We ordered 2 schnitzel burgers, 1 with tomato & cheese and were charged for it. Didn't get the cheese though!? And to make matters worse the chips were over cooked in dirty oil. Should have gone to Macca's instead..... *in response to the owner* Not 1 of the 3 staff shouted out "hi sorry about the wait we'll be with you shortly" which is the polite and professional response to being short staffed and very busy. Whenever & wherever we travel our preference is always the small businesses, especially during these times, because usually the service comes with a genuine smile and delicious tasting food. It was just not the case here. And yes "big name fast food restaurant chains" do make mistakes too, but I've never had to wait so long for a wrongly made, tasteless meal.
Specifically ordered a chicken fillet burger not schnitzel they even wrote fillet on my burger box but it's an overcooked processed chicken fillet, thanksFood: 1/5
The best fish and chips by a cou try mile... They must change the oil regularly as it never has that oily taste and everything comes out so crispy/crunchyFood: 5/5

My wife and I ordered 'fish and chips' from this cute, convenient shop last night. The fish was soooo tasty and very mouth watering!! Best fish had in ages, thank you for cooking a lovely tasty meal for us.
