Made a small loan against my ring for the first time ever in my life and at this place here after walking past the shop one day and wanting to see what they did. The initial customer Service Officer was fantastic, dark brown hair, Caucasian girl in her mid 20’s it seemed.. very approachable in her manerism - great customer service skills. She was attentive and verbal communication was excellent, explaining everything I needed to know.. actually it is why I thought it a great idea this whole loan against your valuables and the price was inexpensive also. On the day I came in to pay my loan, two people (I would say in their 20’s, one male and one female.. caucasian.. were not so pleasant, slightly condescending and put me off loaning from this place again. The way you treat your customers matters, not all customers are the same, don’t generalise, listen and get the job done. I must say, the customer service rep did get what I needed to have done, yes it was sorted, but not without an uncomfortable and what felt like a condescending interaction. I was speaking plain English, but it seemed like I had to exaggerate the movement of my lips in order for the young lady to understand what I was saying. Perhaps get your staff some world experience and some well rounded customer Service skills, it matters to your business. Let the customers leave with a good business experience guys. I did on my first interaction and it was fantastic, it got you a paying customer, albeit a minor profit for you. Thank you to clerk KR as per my paperwork - you’re a credit to the business, as for KF as per my receipt today .. not so much, but it surely can be something to work on.
Thanks for the one-time service. Will not be going back.

Its hard to write a positive review when i been a long time customer and the staff was always helpful... But i was 30cents short for picking up my phone and was told bad luck... Over 30cents!!! Now i would understand if i was not a long time customer and if it were $$$ but it was 30cents!!! Smfh.  I have to say this was just one bad experience over many many good ones, so my previous review stands! Just a shame that there is no customer loyalty.
Just relized this edit has deleted my previous review which was.. " a pleasure to deal with, always helpful".. Well...and yes this place is much better than cash converter which i would stay away from, shop here for a generally good experience

Ive been a long time happy customer of 20 years with only good dealings until afew days ago when I presented my Seiko Shogun watch which is in mint condition and cost US$1k. I requested a loan of $50 for my watch ( to clear up a vet bill ) only to be told the most they could lend me was $20.They would of been happy to take the watch of me for $20 and more than happy to put it in the window for $750 the next day.However 1 negitive experience in 20 years says alot  about the business.Far and away the best in Dandy.

I've gone here quiet a few times and usually don't have a problem.  Their services have helped me in the past and the staff are usually very nice and quiet easy to deal with. That is until my most recent visit. I went in to pick up a phone I had on loan. I was asked to sign and pay everything first which isn't a problem as I have never had any issues therefore didn't foresee a problem. Then upon receiving the phone, I was told they had lost the charger that I was asked to provide along with the phone. I find it hard to understand as the charger was stored in the same bag as the phone and it makes me wonder how they managed to lose it. The only offer they gave to make amends for their mistake was a pink charger and a cable which they claimed was a legit Samsung charger but there was no proof. As the phone belonged to my boyfriend he obviously didn't want to take a pink charger and took offence at how that was all they offered. Although I'm glad they didn't loose the Samsung as it is a new phone therefore obviously worth a bit, I'm very disappointed that they lost the original charger. The worker was very condescending, 'cya later buddy', after he was told we would not be returning. All in all very disappointing and I truly hope this isn't how they have decided to do business. I am left to wonder how they managed to lose the charger though.. And not offer a more appropriate compensation.
