Casablanca's is not a fine dining restaurant, but a place you can come to & relax & enjoy rustic comfort food based on my Italian family recipes. We don't claim to be like any other Italian Cafe, we are true to what Lisa grew up with. We also do Catering.

Story

Ciao and welcome to Casablanca's Caffe nestled on the Maroochy River in the heart of Maroochydore. We welcome you to our family table to enjoy the very simple of dishes from Southern Italy. Lisa the Owner was raised in a family that enjoyed the very basics from Sicily and Calabria where her parents are from and wants to show to her visitors a different side of the Italian culture, steering away from some of the more commonly known dishes that originated from Italy. The menu is based on Lisa's take of dishes, not the common way you are used to.

Our dedication is to simplicity and at the heart of our dishes are fresh ingredients. At Casablanca's Caffe we welcome you to enjoy the company of your family and friends in a casual homely dining experience. So sit back and relax, enjoy and as Nonna would say ... Mangia, Mangia.

This Restaurant is dedicated to the memory of Lisa's Papa, Franz Casablanca. Dine in or takeaway coffee, gelato, italian sweets.

Treat yourself to a nice relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and refreshing food. Was so enjoyable to sit along the water, the meals were fresh and the service fast. Spacious and private, so you can have a conversation with your company without issues. Hidden little gem! Go seek it out for a little treat. Going to go for dessert next time, it was a little early at breakfast to raid the mouth watering dessert cabinet.

Moroccan name but Italian food, interesting combo. Like previous reviews, at 7.40pm we were told to place orders as restaurant was closing at 8.00pm. We felt hurried and could not relax, we wanted our Friday evening with friends to be slow relaxing dining so we could catch up, however no sooner had we placed our order and it was served, so much for a relaxing night. Having to order and pay at counter is poor for evening dinning, also having to get our own water. The food was tasty but could have been a bit more and presented on large plates to enhance presentation. Make dinners feel special and set yourself apart from the competition. As a small business owner, I do hope theses guys survive, it’s tough, especially the first two years. I recommend getting hospitality training to deliver a special wow factor to dinners.

It is so refreshing to walk into a place with people that are happy to see you. Thank you for my lovely lasagna and thank you to the lovely lady for her excellent customer service, nothing was to much trouble for her. Lovely environment and comfortable chairs. I am glad I have found this new hidden gem and I will be back to try breakfast and dinner.

Superb food & plenty of room. We had a group of 30 people having breakfast & EVERYONE loved it! Try the breakfast share platter for two! (Make sure your hungry though)! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

Genuine traditional Italian food with a modern relaxed ambience. Loved the al-fresco dining option. Staff were friendly and helpful, even the chef took the time to come and chat to us at our table which was a lovely personal touch. Definite for a return visit!
