Carterton Holiday Park offers a park-like setting with individual private sites. It is close to the shops, parks, swimming pools and the entrances to the Tararua Ranges. The park offers 24 power sites, numerous non-power and tent sites. It also boasts 6 fully furnished, heated and carpeted self-contained units sleeping up to 6 people (bring your own bedding or hire from us) plus 4 budget cabins. The park also has well equipped communal facilities.

This is one of the nicest Dog friendly campgrounds we have been to. Dogs have to be kept on leashes but there is a super dog park just down the road called Sparks Park. The Campground is lovely and clean with pretty grounds and a good space for your caravan and vehicle. Its is a great base to look around the Wairarapa area. I love the effort made to make it festive for the holiday season. Many thanks and well done. Hope we can come back and enjoy it again!

We were grateful for the friendly welcome and communications beforehand. Thrilled to be able to rest in the spacious unit with room for more than the five of us. Freshly painted and furnished. Clean. The visiting cats were a bonus. Can recommend this site and the management. Go Phil and Sharrie. Well done and thanks.

The nicest camping ground we been to during our 2 week trip. Everything was shining clean and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
