David does not honour his guarantees on the carpet he sells and does not do things that he tells you he is going to do. We bought Rhino carpet from this supplier and within a year it had started to fade. Over the next four years it faded very badly so that in parts it was unrecognisable as the same colour. The carpet carries a 25 year guarantee against fading and staining. We have fought with David the owner of Carpet Court Blenheim to honour this guarantee and replace the carpet. We want it replaced with the same carpet because we designed our entire house around it. He is saying that the carpet will fade again so there is no point but he also told us that the supplier of the carpet will honour the guarantee again if this happens. The carpet still carries the same guarantee. He wants us to replace the carpet with something else but we cannot find anything that carpet court has that is the same quality, that we like and that fits with the house. He told us finally after many months of his being evasive and not returning calls and fighting with us that he would order the same carpet but it would take 12 weeks. We have waited 22 weeks and now contacted him and he says he has not ordered it because there is no point in replacing our carpet with it because it will fade again. So he did not do what he said he would do and is refusing to order the carpet. It is our legal right to have the carpet replaced and if we want the same carpet which still carries the same guarantee it is our choice not his. He has to honour this guarantee and he is refusing to. We will be taking legal action but we should not have to do this. We would not recommend you deal with this firm.
