Rode my loaded up KLR650 on the 4wd track from The Heysen Trail to Dusthole Creek Rd in the dry. Might be more of a challenge when wet though. I'm yet to camp here though.

While a fair drive from Burra, around 1.5 hours on dirt roads, its worth it to see some of the amazing landscapes and bush.  Worth doing if you are into photography. There are campgrounds and longdrop toilets scattered around but make sure to take your own water as the rainwater tanks are small and low. There are also camping sheds if you wish to have something more solid over your head but you will need your own beds. The Heysen trail cuts through the park so you may see hikers moving though in the cooler months.  Make sure to check out the ruins and the gorge while you explore the trails.
