Update I came back the next night and had the Porterhouse Steak with an added side of vegetables accompanied by a glass of Shiraz. Steak was absolutely delicious and cooked exactly as ordered medium. I was also blown away by the exceptional service provided by the Bistro Team. In particular Tayla provided impressive care ensuring I had a drink and I was happy with my meal - thank you Tayla!nnI was craving a Sunday roast so decided to come here while staying in the area on an interstate visit. Lamb was on the menu for roast of the day and being a club like this my expectations weren’t high for the quality of food. I was pleasantly delighted to receive a fresh, hot and delicious meal with good quality ingredients and a nice serve of mint jelly on the side. Really good meal and a nice range of drinks available from the bar. Service was really good here too with super friendly & helpful staff. I’d like to come back & try the steak sometime soon. Highly recommended!
A venue that is everything you want in space, easy parking and service with a smile.nStaying near by for the week and each night service has been the stand out.nSmiles and genuine attention to customers has been impressive to witness.nFood is okay, pub standards are as you expect. Not the greatest, not bad, but delivered with a smile and quickly all week.nLove to see something on the menu to let the chefs put some love into but a business is a business so get it.nnOverall would recommend for a cold one and a feed that is simple and honest.
Came to the Cardinia Club for a sunday roast & the food was great. Tender lamb and vegetables all cooked to perfection. Good size servings. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact that the waitress made an error when putting our order through to the kitchen which resulted in a 30 minute delay. The venue has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff & ample menu. Would probably try a weekday lunch next time so I can make use of the seniors menu and try the fisherman's basket.nnUpdate: Definitely gets 5 stars after our second visit and I've updated the rating to reflect his! The meal was even bigger this time with the addition of a Yorkshire Pudding added to the roast meal. Everything was cooked perfectly. Prices were very reasonable. We're looking forward to returning & bringing friends & family with us.
Upon arrival we passed two staff members sitting out the front of the main entrance smoking not vapes also talking about pay and conditions.nWe were seated quickly which was good.nOrders taken for drinks and meals also taken in good time.nEverytime the kitchen door opened loud music would be playing.nMeals were good.nSteak ordered medium rare came out rare as i dont mind depending on the cut of meat.nTable service with drinks mainly requires more training on placement as other guests drinks were spilled.nOverall for atmosphere inside, price and quality no complaints.
6 of us had Sunday lunch. The food was delicious, I had the creamy garlic prawns and they were sensational. Very generous portions for all our meals. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The prices were very reasonable and I would strongly recommend this venue.
