Canteen Coffee

The food and coffee was excellent. However I witnessed an extremely rude encounter between the owner and a customer who was asked to leave immediately following finishing his coffee. Apparently the table would be needed for other potential customers even though there were plenty of free tables, he wasn't even asked if he would have liked to order another coffee. Will not be returning.

Had bacon and eggs + cappuccino. Both excellent and very reasonably priced, delivered promptly. Simple no BS cafe in a shady spot, highly recommend.

Best bacon and egg roll in Burleigh! Friendly service, I only pop in once a week, but they still remember what I order every time!

My husband and I just had the best coffee of our holiday !!! We are very fussy about coffee, very! We enjoy searching out the best we can find everywhere we go. So if you are in Burleigh Heads go to The Canteen Kitchen. My husband had a double espresso and it was the perfect temperature, no bitterness, and a hint to of chocolate and toffee came through with a well rounded creamy finish. The perfect espresso. The owners were welcoming and engaging and happy … great service with smiles. Thank you Canteen Kitchen …. We love your work. We will be back today!

The eggs were superb and the hollandaise sauce was the best I have tasted in years the coffee was made to perfection and the service was friendly and attentive see you again soon

They make a really good coffee much enjoyed. Just had tow air a while in the store when there was no one else waiting at all.

My favourite coffee spot in Gold Coast! Very cosy spot off James st. Their signature coffee beans from Cleanskin is the most unique and flavourful. I have been to several cafes on the coast but nothing beats Canteen Coffee. All the staffs are very friendly especially Camila.

I came here for a Saturday morning breakfast with my friend and we were able to be seated right away. Our drinks came out just a few moments before our food. My first thoughts was that my haloumi dish was rather small however I was satisfied by the time I finished it.

Really nice place and I like their food. I love it.

Just coffee, first time here, sat outside, was not sure where to order as I was outside the kitchen area, was told to order from the lane, asked for water, large latte half strength $6, bit pricey but I tried it and it tasted good.
