Not well designed as an interchange - the buses are a long distance down the platform from the trains, and some of the most common buses are bizarrely the furthest away, almost guaranteeing you will miss them.
It's pretty good. Everything is in order and grouped well, but Stand 16 which I use for 280s to the airport on weekends is completely separate from the other stands on Cecil Ave. That means I have almost missed the 280 while bus spotting inside. Also please be aware there is *no divider* between the male and female toilets so good lucknNice buses go here, especially the Mercedes-Benz OC500LE CNG variants. Attached is a photo of OC500LE CNG number 1641 my personal favourite.
We had a short stroll from Westfield carousel to cannington stn to go to Fremantle market. It's a long ride from cannington stn to Fremantle stn as the train had to interchange at Perth stn. Though long, the ride is very comfortable as the train is clean and the views are breath-taking for first timer to Perth.nOn the flip side, Google maps have us wrong route as we walked from Westfield carousel to the train station. Luckily we took the chance n found ourselves reaching cannington stn on a shorter route instead of Google maps recommended route.
Great turnaround with the Metronet project offering a fresh new station replacement to the terminal at Cannington. Hopefully the new amenities and communal facilities around the precinct will bring along a much needed improvement in accessibility and safety.
Whoever designed this bus port should be fired. Literally zero shelter from the rain while waiting at the stands for buses
