A woderful and very attractive & informative Zoo to see a very rare variety of snakes, lizards. All the creatures have been kept in nature's friendly atmosphere. We get lot of knowledge about the behaviour and habits of these creatures. Some of the reptiles are human friendly and available for sale also.nnA worth visiting place for all age groups.
Tucked away in one of the retail strips, the reptile zoo is a special experience for any reptile lovers : The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all things reptiles! I haven’t always been the biggest fan of reptiles but have definitely grown an appreciation after my visit! Looking forward to coming back, especially after the new outdoor crocodile enclosure is complete!
Spent an hour or so at the Reptile Zoo. Certainly not a big zoo by any means especially if you’re coming from one of the larger cities in Australia like we were. However, Canberra’s attractions are intimate in size by comparison and should be expected for a smaller city.nnWe had a great time at the Reptile Zoo. Staff were very friendly and there were multiple opportunities to touch the animals. They were also expanding at the time we visited so expect for new additions to be made in due course.
My family and I came here on Easter Sunday. They were opened and also still got out a baby crocodile for people to pat. They also had a spot the Bilby competition so we got to do that as a fun activity looking for the 5 chocolate Bilbys while looking at the reptiles. I also loved that you could just go up and pat the lizards or turtles. A great activity for young kids.
The dinosaur museum was absolutely fantastic! The exhibits are impressive and well-organized, bringing prehistoric creatures to life. It's both educational and fun for all ages. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A must-visit for anyone interested in dinosaurs!
