I traveled through Canberra Airport in mid-September 2025. It's a single terminal airport with sixteen gates. The airport has standard amenities and services. Cleanliness throughout the airport is very apparent.
Canberra Airport is a small and beautiful airport. Its well-maintained, clean, and easy to navigate. It has a few nice cafes but bit expensive.nHowever, I did have a disappointing experience with the cleanliness of the toilets on one occasion. I checked two different toilets, and unfortunately, both had dirty toilet seats. I noticed a cleaner entering one, so I assumed it would be cleaned shortly. But when I politely pointed out the issue, the cleaner said “It’s not your home toilet,” which felt quite unprofessional. I chose not to use the toilet and reported the matter to the duty manager.nOn a positive note, when I was departing from the airport, I used the toilet again and it was clean that time. Airport also has some great spots for taking photos.
Canberra Airport is one of the most streamlined airports in the country, with minimal congestion and a very business-friendly layout. Corporate arrivals are easy to manage, and moving clients from terminal to vehicle is efficient. Planning transport ahead of time ensures meetings run on schedule. A quick search for “Cars on Demand” offers immediate price transparency and an efficient booking system suitable for corporate travellers.nnAnd if it ever gets fogged in, we can always drive you to Sydney.
Canberra Airport is clean and well-maintained, with helpful and kind staff. There’s a good selection of shops, making the travel experience more enjoyable.
Excellent place for easy in and out, smaller airports are often a nice change to the bustle of the larger airports. Looking forward to seeing even more flights in and out as they expand coverage.
