Wilson Parking

I avoid giving my money to this company wherever possible. Viciously enforced by 'parking inspectors' handing out 'fines' (that aren't legally enforceable, despite their best efforts to scare people into thinking they are). Then there's the appalling 'service' - it seems many carparks are run from other cities (at least the intercom/help numbers are), which makes it near impossible to get any help when there's an issue. I've been stuck in several Wilson carparks for close to an hour while staff from another city tried to work out whether the single staff member was there that day. They happily charge you the earth, but certainly don't seem to invest in anything that makes things better for customers. Equally revolting is the fact they sting people with a large credit card surcharge without any advice that it's going to happen (it seems they're equally glad to flaunt these laws as they allegedly are taxation law - so I've heard in news on the Panama papers). I wondered why I'd been charged an extra fee on top of my parking and looked EVERYWHERE for any kind of notice that additional fees would be charged. It was nowhere to be found - nothing at the entrance sign/terms and conditions signs, pay machines (screens or signs), exit gate/machines. They don't even provide an itemised receipt explaining what the charge is (or provide an option for a receipt at all in some of their parking lots - I had to phone the helpline to request a receipt via email).
