I have been with this medical centre for more than 10 years when it was constructed in 2011 approx. Dr Belinda is always our family's GP till today. This medical centre is professional and flexible. More important is they really care for the kids and know what kids need. I am now in Berwick but still go back to Cranbourne if I want to see Dr Belinda.
First time going to this clinic and Dr Fakhra Fazil was extremely thorough, explained everything I need to know about the medication I needed. Was very supportive and understanding. She provided empathy and sympathised to my issue. I really appreciate her time and effort. Will definitely be seeing her and only her moving forward.
As a nurse, my experience here today is actually concerning. If I could give 0 stars I would. Firstly, the consulting room smelt, was the size of a storage cupboard and the bin was overflowing with gloves and masks. My appointment was with Dr Kim Yueng. I presented with a painful, blocked ear. This is not new for me. I’ve had my ears syringed from blockages more times than I can count. I explained to the Dr that I have narrow ear canals and often get blocked ears. He then offered to syringe my ear. He took me into the treatment room and after roughly setting up he asked me to test the temperature of the water because he couldn’t tell if it was too warm or too cold. After checking it I said I wasn’t too sure but it seemed ok. Dr Yueng then proceeded to attempt to insert the syringe tip into my ear. At first he pushed it up against my earlobe, and then against the cartilage and then up against my neck and nowhere near my ear canal but kept asking if the tip was in. I don’t know why he couldn’t see where he was placing the syringe tip. He was being exceptionally rough and hurt me by pushing the metal syringe tip against my skin. I ended up having to guide the tip into my ear for him and when I said it felt like it was in place he pushed it in really hard which really hurt and as a result moved it out of position again and then when it was half way in he began syringing water that half went in my ear without removing wax and blocking it even more and the rest somehow ended up running down my top and wetting my jumper and clothing. I had to ask him to stop, at which point his hands were shaking. He clearly had zero experience or confidence in this basic procedure that a medical student would be more than capable of. I have now left my appointment, with an even more blocked and sore ear that is now also water logged and wet clothing and nowhere else to go on Easter Saturday. I’m am absolutely appalled, shocked and somewhat concerned that this doctor isn’t capable of a very simple and straightforward procedure. I will never return to this practice again and I will be lodging an official complaint.
I’ve been to this doctor since I was in year 9, I had no issues with them. HOWEVER…. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK AFTER TALKING TO DOCTOR BELINDA ZHOU!!!! I have epilepsy, my work wanted a clearance to ensure I was fit to come back to work from it and she told me straight no. I explained to her about my job being on the line for this and I really needed it and she argued aggressively about it! I explained I needed an income and money for my bills etc. and SHE TOLD ME “GO ON CENTRELINK OR WORK COVER WHATEVER…”. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! I went to my neurologist and he gave me one on the spot. So thanks for nothing!!! I really thought she was the best doctor, short and sharp but apparently not. The wait time is 45+mins before the scheduled time, demand a mask and sell for $1 should be a sign and mentioned when you book, and some doctors don’t listen to what you have to say they just blabber about other things when you’re going in their to tell them what’s wrong with you. I hope they do better!!!
I went there because of the online good reviews of Dr Belinda. But realised those are all fake reviews. She’s impatient, rude and inexperienced surprisingly. Would not recommend going there to see her. Though, the receptionist is kind and helpful.
I have been a patient at camms Rd for nearly 12 years, including a couple of years when they were at Southern Health in Sladen Street Southern Healthcare. All doctors have been caring and very helpful in my time there. In fact, they give you a holistic approach to your needs. Doctor Fakhra Fazil, a lady doctor, is my choice she is very thorough, asking all the right questions and, most of all, caring and genuine about your health. All are Bulk Billed with on-site pathology and parking. I recommend the clinic as a stroke patient myself. I know you're in good hands cheers Ross
One of best clinics in South East Melbourne with very friendly reception staff and experienced doctors. I was really impressed with the professionalism Dr. Belinda and Dr. Kim had. Both were able to help me with the exact medical advice and treatment which can only come with years of medical experience :-
Called at 11:12am, spoke to reception and was given 4:15pm Telehealth appointment after explaining I had tested positive for Covid for was experiencing some chest issues. 4:15pm came and went. No call or text to say they were running behind. 5:57pm Reception calls to say that they cannot do a Telehealth appointment because I had not been in to see a GP there since 2019. I ask what the next step is, the receptionist asks me to try another medical centre. Why didn't the receptionist tell me when I called at 11:12am that your medical centre would not see me? Instead I had to wait around 7 hours to be told this, by which time many medical centres were closed or closing! If I was told when I called that your medical centre would not see me I could have made alternative arrangements. Luckily I was able to get a Telehealth appointment with another medical centre because as it turned out there was a concern that required an ambulance to be called. Your medical centre's negligence had the potential to cause my condition to deteriorate, and who knows what the outcome might have been. To anyone considering Camms Road Medical Centre I would suggest you place your health in a more organised clinic otherwise you may end up regretting your decision.
camms road medical centre is awesome, easy to book appointments, especially Dr Fakhra is very knowledgeable and professional. Very easy to talk and understand the problem. She is super good with kids. She is our family doctor and we always visit her. We have also received our covid vaccinations from dr Fakhra. Highly recommend the best doctor in south east. overall very positive experience whenever we visit this medical centre.
This is my favourite clinic. Doctors are professional and kind. I've been to this centre for more 10 years. Every time they solved our problems. My kid love it too.
