My husband & I had a great experience dealing with Cameron Construction! Their efficiency & professional approach was remarkable. We were delighted to have them helping us with our extension. We would not hesitate to recommend Cameron Construction to any of our family & friends.
I used Camron's for a second story extension on my house in the Ringwood area. George, the project manager, could not be easier to deal with. He took the time to explain things along the way and was always happy to have a site meeting. Rennie, the head carpenter, did a fantastic job and was always polite and respectful of my property, which was great as I was still living in it whilst the renovations were happening. I would have no hesitation in recommending them!

Very poor communication, Poor customer service, Expensive and Very Slow My husband and I decided to do a renovation in July 2014, we paid for the concept drawing/quote in Sept 2014 to Cameron Construction, then things gone very slowly...In early Nov the designerour main contact had family issue and went overseas, Cameron construction called and said only going to be couple weeks, then no contact until mid Dec, by then our project got seriously delayed and the concept drawing/quote is far from being completed, so we decided to move on to another builder to avoid further delay. We asked for refund in Dec 2014 as we have received nothing from them no concept drawings, no quote, chased up couple time in between, still got no response from them until 30th Jan 2015 more than a month after we asked for refund when we received concept drawings/quote by post in our letter box the drawings are nothing like what we want, and quote is three times the amount the current builder is quoting me, we believe they just made up a concept drawing/quote to avoid refund. We then sent a formal complain to them, their Admin replied the only person cares about the customer and advised their director is going to get back to us, but nothing since then...Extremely disappointed about the experience as they promised the world when we first met them...we do feel sorry for the designer, and understood the family issue is unexpected, but someone should continue the project for us to avoid delay...and have no response from their director after our formal complain just proves they don't really care about customer experience. I will not recommend Cameron construction for any renovation project if you like to stick to your budget and stick to your timeframe...
Edit: Received an apology and immediate visit from the company, so I am changing from 1 to 4 stars. I will update if I decide to go ahead with this company. Their website advertises that they do bathroom renovations. I sent an enquiry for an appointment and received a message back advising they won't quote as they won't do anything for less than $100,000. The reason why I am writing a one star review is because they never enquired about my budget. I have a large, beautiful home with three bathrooms and I was expecting to pay a heck of a lot more than their minimum fee. This sort of arrogance is usually a sign of a company that is making too much money, so I suspect they overcharge. I don't know for sure though but I would treat them with caution.
