I had a horrible experience today at this station. At the beginning I couldn't get gas, the machine was blocked, and when I went into the shop to ask they forced me to pay the 40 dollars for gas that I never had.nI felt ripped off, robbed.nLousy attention, lousy service. I will never go back.
Hot showers are available here. $2 for 3 min or $4 for 6min. There’s a laundromat too and of course a gas station.
It seriously takes one to ruin the whole experience! It was our first time in Wanaka and we had our first stop over at this petrol station, we were appalled by the poor customer service by this lady she was not only rude and disrespectful to me but also the customer before me! She needs to leave if she's not satisfied by her job if providing customer service is not her thing then she should go.
A young lady working here tried to charge us twice for the lpg bottle we filled to cover for her mistakes. She thought we didnt speak English and tried to trick us which is very upsetting. She also skipped on the bubble test before unplugging. Talked to the manager and sorted the problem out but she never apologised. Hope she doesnt try this on anyone else in the future. The only reason I am not naming her is because she seemed pretty young and still maybe learning and panicked for making a mistake.
Excellent place to stop & top up with fuel....on the way into /onto main St....so you are all prepared when you leave.
