The raspberry and chocolate tart was by far a stand out. The pastry was perfect, there was a salted caramel sauce that balanced out the richness. Lovey dark chocolate ganache. Weekend plans: pastry hunting and zero regrets. nnA quick stop at turned into a haul of seriously good baked treats, and honestly, I understand the hype now.nnWe'll definitely be back to dine in next time. Aiming to be early as it was sooo busy especially on a weekend.
WOW! Fennel jam and stracciatella cheese wheel was amazing, salmon sandwich filling and delicious, and an incredible dubai chocolate croissant. Normally not one to enjoy the latter but the crispy pistachio cream and chocolate coating went excellently with the flaky pastry.nnWarm and efficient service, too. Would love to come back!
A packed bakery with delicious sweet baked goods. I always find myself coming back for their monthly specials, but their permanent menu is delicious as well.nnI've tried almost every sweet baked treat there, and needless to say, it does not disappoint. Your wallet may be a bit empty afterwards, but worth it.nnCompared to the pastries, the sandwiches were a little bit of a let-down, unfortunately. The bread was tough and required a bit of effort to chew through.nnMy favourite was the mont blanc croissant! Refreshing, not too sweet with a hint of zesty orange and coffee. The berry danish was also fantastic!
I finally got to try Calle Bakery and it did not disappoint. The pain au chocolat and wheel croissants were so yummy and worth the hype, and the hot chocolate was the perfect accompaniment. Great quality, great flavours, and a lovely experience overall. Looking forward to my next visit already
