Hot tasty food from fish, chips and salad meals. burgers and quick nibbles. Great sized portions at a reasonable price. It can get busy most night so ringing through your order first might be best or you can sit outside on the seats and wait for your orders. Nice staff and a clean shop.
I placed my order of three hamburgers and a $10 chips at 1.35pm and was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. I got there at 1.50pm and I could see that my chips were ready in the food warmer cabinet. The place was packed and people were lining up to place their orders. I can understand wait times when it comes to large quantities of people as I have had experience in fast food workplaces. What I can't understand however, is how my order took over 45 minutes to be made whilst everyone who ordered after me received their meal first. Even more complicated orders were given out first. Even though they were ordered 20 minutes after mine. A couple of the burgers i ordered were placed next to the chips, however, there was no sign of the third burger. My chips stayed in the warmer cabinet for the entire time, with me having to ask an employee to close the cabinet a number of times. Every time an order was taken out, the cabinet door for the warmer cabinet was kept open. A fly flew into warmer cabinet and at this point I was just hoping the employees would take some initiative but alas, i was wrong. 2.15 PM, I ask if they were my chips that had been in the cabinet since I arrived and they said yes. I then asked them if they could re cook them as it had been over 30 minutes of them sitting in the cabinet. They told me it would be another ten minutes. My other burger was finally made, with only two other people waiting for orders, one of which being a chip order. My meal was taken out of the cabinet once the chips were ready. This was about 50 minutes after placing my order. I asked why it took this long. One of the employees said something about confusion around a steak sandwich. Of which was ordered by a different customer who wasn't their to pick up their order. 50 minutes because of a steak sandwich. I didn't receive an apology for waiting 50 minutes and quite frankly I was just glad to get out of there. The poor employees actually looked confused as well so basically their was just a whole lot of confusion which was such a fun time : *Chef's kiss* I've never had such a long wait at a takeaway store : The staff somehow didn't complete an order of chips and three hamburgers for 50 minutes even though all the other orders were completed : I didn't receive any remote apology or reason as to why I had to stand waiting for 50 minutes : Apart from two of the burgers being in the cabinet for wayyyyy too long, the food was okay. The fresh-ish chips helped but I literally had to ask. Still, 50 minutes is a bit unforgivable. Please please please, train the staff to close the cabinets! There are flies buzzing. Also, maybe have a digital order system or something that would make the staff aware that someone has been waiting for a reallllllly long time : Anyways, I think the staff just needs more training, and that's coming from someone who was in the food industry for two + Years. Need's to improve to compete with Mac's takeaway which is just up the road from there.
Tasty chips. I always get their 2 person fish pack and it’s very cost effective. Friendly staff and really seem like a small business who care about their customers. Fast service but I’d probably recommend calling up to order to save waiting time as they often get very busy at night time!
I love this takeaway! The bogan burger is my personal favourite though everything else I've tried has been great, and considerably better than most other takeaways. The staff are enthusiastic and efficient and the evidence for this is in the quality of the food.
As a potential new customer, I went there to order dinner for the first time. Unfortunately I am very disappointed. A blonde middle aged female with a ponytail stood chatting to someone she obviously knew fairly well, by the personal information disclosed in a public place. She did not even bother to acknowledge our presence, make any attempt to take our order nor request that any other staff member do so. Eventually a young girl took our order. The burger itself was just as disappointing as the service - it was dry, the steak was tough, no salad included and very expensive $12 each burger I will not be back EVER. You have one chance to impress customers and ignoring them certainly isn't the way to do it.
Average just quality food with very small portions. Very over-priced for what you get. My tip is skip the grease and go for a pie next door !! I DO NOT recommend this chippo, I don't think they would get a great deal of repeat business.
Great burgers, especially the hamburger with the lot. I have been getting it for years! The service is so friendly that they know my order off by heart now and have a chat every time I come in :
One of the best takeaway places in all of Brisbane! Staff were very friendly and the service was also great. The food was delicious and the shop was the tidiest takeaway shop I've ever seen!
Very reasonable pricing and always have got great fish and chips. 110% happy with every order
Food is nice ,but guys seriously $3 for a tiny little potato scallop but good ,prices need to sesiously be revised before i step back in the door
