Choose this place as we had time to kill before our movie, and I’m looking to still get over Montezuma’s Mt Gravatt leaving me and ending our relationship ‍ Price point is a little high for what they serve, and if you’re going to charge $10 for a mock tail, at least fill it to the brim. Service was a hit and miss, male server was super friendly, and the female server was not. We definitely won’t come back again, but we thank you for the experience.
Staff were great, very attentive and friendly. Food was incredible. Fish tacos - honestly best fish tacos we had ever had. Absolutely perfect. Beef nachos - delicious. Would definitely recommend this as a share as it's very big. Plenty of delicious melt in your mouth steak. To die for. Jalapeno poppers - if they sold only this they'd have a loyal customer. I've had jalapeno poppers all over the world at countless places and this is hands down the best I've had. Most places cut the jalapeno in half or skimp on the batter. This place batters them and does it whole. Habanero roja salsa - smoky, spicy and overall delicious would personally rather an option to just have a pot of this without the tortilla chips as just wanted it for my nachos but was still great. Will be back for sure. Best and most authentic American in Brisbane by far
Lovely setting, enjoyed the music & ambience inside & among the settings adjacent to the garden. Hearty TexMex food, not a huge variety, but plenty of good cocktails & beers. Standard kids menu, excellent family night out.
100% recommend and already looking forward to coming here again. Really authentic feel with the food and the decor. We got the enchiladas and the tortilla chips with dip. The staff were also amazing which can be make or break for a restaurant. All around lovely experience.
Service Excellent with wait Staff very attentive to our table. Was relatively busy for a Tuesday night. Meals were of good portions and price good. Beer cold and Sangria was nice as well.
Have been here many times and has never disappointed. Went on a Thursday night and the young team working that night did an amazing job. Highly recommended the poppers they are always a hit as well as the fish tacos.
Being from the US we are always looking for good Mexican style food and this place really delivered! Was super excited to have taquitos and enchiladas. The margheritas were made with lime and I especially loved the spicy version. The waitress was really nice and checked on its the perfect amount. They were happy to put a candle in some dessert for us, as it was my partner's birthday, which I really appreciated and the warm date walnut cake was the perfect end to the meal. We will definitely be back!
Massively torn here. Atmosphere, menu, drinks, decor all spectacular. The specific execution of dishes left a bit to be desired.... Went for the more traditional Mexican dishes on menu like jalapeno poppers, chipotle nachos, fish taco. While generally tasty there was almost zero meat and cheese on the Nachos and fish in tacos were mostly batter. Nothing I had would be considered a main meal anywhere. At the asking prices it was very much ultimately disappointing. $30 of Nachos should not leave room for anything.... Let alone wondering if there was any meat in the dish at all. Mexican is easy to do at value, and easy to do at this price. They missed. Drinks were good though and service was infallible.
Awesome delicious and authentic food. The cocktails, mainly margaritas were insanely good!! Staff were also lovely. Can’t wait to go back
Really pleased. I had high hopes and honestly they were met. The food was really good, the drinks made well & the staff was nice & friendly, though I’d love to see more staff or maybe QR ordering at the table as they really struggle to keep up and have been left waiting for drinks/service
