How pathetic is this doctors clinic come in with all the hospital notes with the info of the treatments they did in hospital so you can get help for pancreatitis seeing been in hospital for 3 times in the last 2 weeks and told you are a drugo as the surgeons recommend the prescription drugs to help with my condition what a joke this place is wouldn't take my dieing dog there some doctors shouldn't be there
Went to this medical center as an overseas visitor. Waited an hour more even though I scheduled the appointment ahead. Reception was horrible, they took my credit card without explaining what’s the procedure. when asking for it back the receptionist replied cynically and said I could go without seeing the doctor and she didn’t go shopping with my card. Seeing the doctor was not a pleasant experience. He was not really listening to me and after seeing that I clearly have an inflammation in my ears he prescribed Zyrtec which is an anti histamine. He said if I’ll feel worst after taking them, only then he’ll prescribe antibiotics. Needless to say it didn’t help at all. Will not go there again! Not recommended at all!
The staff at Cairns Central Medical have the best costumer service!!! I am greatful eachtime I walk in for my doctor's appointment because of the all wonderful staff there . Everytime without a doubt I am greeted with a smile and good vibrations You are truly the best Medical center ever, I wish all centers had the same energies keep up the fantastic work
I have found the medical center to be fantastic. All the administration staff are friendly and helpful. The online appointment booking facility is very user friendly and time saving. The practice has provided medical care for myself, my wife and our 4 children for a couple of years now. The range of services on offer such as, immunizations, means it is a one stop shop. For the last 12 months I have been recovering from numerous injury's sustained in an accident. Dr Wright has been a great support in looking after me during my recovery. He has such a diverse range of knowledge and skills that he is not only able to provide great medical care but is also able to help patients work through aspects of there life that may be affecting there health or recovery.
Shocking receptionist. Ive seen a number of reviews here about how nice they are. Well Ive been twice now and they were bad both times. This time I arrived and the only receptionist was on the phone. I stood at the counter as required in front of her. She didnt spare me a glance. She finished her call and immediately took another one still without looking at me. After that call without raising her eyes she starts talking to another patient who is already seated so they come over and sort out some issue. At this point after about 4 minutes she finally looks at me for the first time and asks "You right?" as if its weird Im even there. No smile nothing. Poor customer service at its best.
Front counter staff very helpful and friendly health engine app is very useful sends reminders off your up coming appointment have never had a problem with this Practice. I have been seeing doctor Vejay who has helped in my recovery he is very knowledgeable when comes to diagnosis talks through all options of care available thouroughly and makes sure you understand. Have been extremely happy with this Practice would definately recommend to anyone.
Will never go there again !!! The doctor didnt listen to me, just brushed me off, didn't give advice on how to ease the symptoms. He ordered various tests without explaining and without half of these test being necessary if he wouldve listened to me!! He treated me like I was dumb. He was discriminating against women and when I told the receptionists who were very nice their reactions made me think like this wasnt the first complain about this.
Very helpful and friendly front counter staff however the doctor witch I won’t post names due to not wanting to cause any drama. Did not listen to me, I have a massive concern and they completely brushed it off and basically just prescribed me something I already had even though I told this person numerous amounts of times. No help at all the other doctors might not be that bad just the one I had was arrogant and rude.
I've been going here since 2009 seeing the same Dr. Reception girls are amazing and friendly.
Worst medical centre ever. Booked 3 appointments in one week but less than one hour before each of these, I have been told that the doctor is not available, 3 times in one week. Today again, appointment at 9:30 and they called me at 9:00 saying that the doctor is not available. Stay away, go somewhere else
