Story

Owned and Operated by Mike and family, the cafe is situated in a picturesque location overlooking the Broad Water in Labrador under the Aqua Building. We are well known for the mighty $7.00 Big Breaky and the rest of our menu is fantastic as well. Come join us for a coffee and cake, or even a sit down meal and fresh juice. We are sure you will enjoy your time while you are here.

Great local cafe on the water. Counter order and table service. Very quick ordering process. Had the eggs Benedict with bacon and a drink - under $20! Fabulous view - perfect place for a quick, basic and tasty meal

Food was extremely well priced. Sides are quite small serves in comparison. Food was slightly above average taste wise. Service was great. Plates were cleared with a smile and lovely goodbye.Food: 4/5
I ordered a big breakfast. One sausage 2 hash browns 2 eggs fried. When my breaky was put on the table it looked like it was cooked and prepared by someone with no experience. My eggs were supposed to be sunny side up. Though were flipped. Sadly I wasn't able to take A photo. I left the eggs on the plate. There were no mushrooms or tomato's. The photo in one of there reviews show the 2 eggs and hash browns. My breakfast didn't look anything like that. Not impressed at all. My review is honest and written how it was.
Great cheap breakfast. But only 1 slice of toast is very stingy considering the average cost of a slice of bread can be as low as 10 cents. A problem easily fixed yet maybe they want you to pay $2.00 for an extra slice. That's not good hospitality.
Food portion was great. You sort of get the value of what you paid for. Also, I was really impressed at how fast they served the meals. Plus staff had amazing customer service despite how busy they were. Food could also do with a little bit of seasoning and flavours. Overall, happy.

Very desapointed.. !the big breakfast not good anymore.. very poor ! And now serving in plastic plates that's really bad because we tried to eat and the plate slide...love the place but not go back for sure
What a beautiful place to eat. Overlooking the famous broadwaterwith views to surfers Paradise and to lands end. Serving size just right. Very comfortable dining and staff smiling and helpful. Both the wife and I had the Beautiful seafood basket for one. Flathead, calamari, prawn cutlets, seafood stick all presented in a steaming hot crispy chip bowl. What chips we didn't eat were happy taken away and fed to the silver gulls on the waters edge. Fine dining and a show haha.
