After waiting in line for 5 min to order a burger and then wait another 10 minutes the burger came out with burnt buns see photo - not to mention this was served with soggy cold chips. Staff did not care and seemed surprised I complained. Do yourself a favour a go else where I will be.
Clean and large spacious eating space. Wide selection of hot food and fresh food/salads. Food tends to be on the expensive side compared with other cafe's in the region and food tastes okay but does not deliver fully on how good it looks and how it should taste.
- Be aware of uncooked meat like I have bought chicken with olives today, see pic and also got a rotten tomato/quinoa salad previously - The amount of food put in a portion is very poor covered in lots of sauce though and - If you ask for healthier alternates especially relevant for someone who doesn't want to eat rice every single day, for example, salad instead of a rice, you will have to pay extra - If you buy there Almond coffee it tastes like Soy coffee, not even near average sydney almond coffee - And if you have got Almond + decaff coffee you will be charged double for extras - maybe it's norm, but in another 2 local cafes you only pay once for those extras, 50c - Overpriced for the above reasons - Lack of variety if you are frequent visitor - Unfriendly stuff Would not recommend this cafe unless you don't really have time to go to another cafe, for a better value of money, like Styx or have a stroll to Maquarie shopping centre. Just consider health risks while eating uncooked meet or rotten salads!
A fantastic cafe nestled 8n the heart of Nth Rydes business district. A fantastic range of set food items, with roast lunch options, salads, wraps and a stack of hot food! The coffee is always great, and the staff look to get you served and fed super quickly. Its only drawback is that its a bit "cafeteria" style, other than that its great
Terrible! Placed an on-line order for delivery at a particular time. Got the confirmation, took the payment. No delivery. Went around to the shop - "Closed until further notice." Had been closed for months. They should at least block on line ordering and taking payment until they re-open. They should also allow a full delivery address to be included in the on-line order process. Anyway found a better, more responsive cafe Cafe Dakota who helped us out while we waited. Thanks for nothing Cafe Pronto. Even had to give them 1 star just so I could post this review. Should be allowed to post negative stars.
Good choices but some days the food taste bad specially the chefs daily special food. Avoid rice curry or pasta and I always go for burgers or sandwiches and they are better. Nice people and crowded during lunch time and in the morning. Good place for coffee anyway.
Ever since changing chefs the food is horrible. The meat in the goulash is so tough and dry. The mushrooms in some of the other dishes are not cooked. The risotto is not cooked. They are way too expansive for the quality of food. They were selling a sausage roll for $8.00 each. Service is getting worse as well.
One point five stars for location, as it takes a few minutes to walk anywhere else if you are stuck there. Half a star for the food and the greedy owner who thinks that a few minutes walk equals no competition. The food never changes, it's overpriced and they charge extra if you are a vegetarian. Every nearby cafe is great - except Soho which is owned by Pronto. Do youself a favour and go to Fibonacci or any other cafe in the area.
Do Not Visit! Poor hygiene during Covid restrictions with staff preparing food without masks. Mis advertised prices for which the staff would rather argue over $2 even after admitting they made a mistake. After Steer clear of this place!
Go when you are absolutely desperate. I have had to return my lunch three times in the last month and a half, dead insects on sandwiches, under cooked meatballs and the staff cant seem to understand instructions whatsoever. Also the prices are outrageous!!! I got a cold chicken and mushroom filo and asked for mash on the side as the salad was all packed away - $17!!!!!! I've only gone back as we have little option where I work, but now I would rather stave.
