Cafe Oggi is a really nice restaurant. We've enjoyed lunches here in years past, and this visit was right up there. A lovely venue to enjoy a lovely lunch. All six meals served to our table were delightful. Deserts exquisite and great coffee to finish. Personally love that their mains are substantial, and if you cannot finish, you can take it home! Appreciate the attentive and friendly waitresses who do play a large role in making a dining event memorable. Sorry missed the plate pics, just too keen to eat! Parking: Plenty of parking for Sunday lunch.
Mid to the superb taste of food. I tried their steak and i can say it's juicy and delectable. Their range of pizzas and vegetarian choices are also tasty. We arrived at the place with almost empty seats but started to pack after an hour past 1pm. The place is a bit crowded during peak hours and seat arrangement is somehow elbow to elbow small legroom space for group dine ins. Drinks as you can see in the photo is also meager. Food service is fast. Oher than that all good Vegetarian options: Tasty pizzas

Cafe Oggi on Lakeside Drive, Burwood East is a great place for morning coffee and business lunches out in the East side of Melbourne. Always busy due to its popularity but worth the wait for food and drinks. They serve woodfire pizza and the day I had lunch there I ordered the Mexicana Pizza. The dough was good and it was topped with fresh ingredients but for some reason it was warm when served. Will give it another go soon.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Hidden behind their trucker stop cafe is the bistro. A great experience! We were seated in a booth. I had the chicken Parma - you can’t go wrong there. Accompanied by heaps of chips and salad. Very reasonably priced. Decor is dated, but it is what it is. We were too full to try dessert, next time.
We were having lunch in a group of 25, and really disappointed with the service of unfriendliness of the waitresses, and the way the payment system is not flexible at all. Does not accept a split bill method. We were trying to pay half cash and half card, but the restaurant doesn’t accept the partial cash payment. Time to serve was quite lengthy, because the kitchen is aiming to serve all at once. Overall I won’t come back, nor recommend this restaurant for any other big groups.
Was unexpectedly in the area visiting an interstate family member and needed a restaurant to go to. Not being a local, had to rely on the reviews of potential restaurants in the area and stumbled across Cafe Oggi. The meals were generous and delicious. Our party enjoyed the Lobster Mornay, Braised Lamb Shoulder and the Chicken Risotto. All tasted amazing. The service was fast, friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a lovely evening.
We were a group of 16 and all our meals came out within minutes of each other. There was plenty of order envy as everyone's meals looked tasty, but there wasn't a bad choice among them. I had the penne matriciana and it was perfectly cooked with a good balance of pasta and toppings. Good sized portions. Nice atmosphere. Staff were lovely. Good for families, they had plenty of high chairs ready.
Very good traditional Margherita pizza ordered via Uber eats and didn’t have to wait long and still hot when it arrived.
We stopped over for a quick feed. The food was delicious but more importantly the waiter was just awesome! An older gentleman.
