Confusion at the counter, was told by staff member they would not take my order, verbally yelled at to "Get out" as we were already leaving. Very disrespectful person, disgusting service. Previous visits had ordered stuffed up, wrong coffees etc. which happens when people are busy. Obvious now that they just don't care. Happy to go a few doors down to IRO Cafe - Lovely staff

My first time and probably the last time I would visit. We came in for 3 ham cheese croissants and 1 coffee. Since we were on our way to some where so I asked the staff to put them in take away packages. Main while my mum wanted some water so I thought might just finish my coffee in the shop too. So we sat down at a table and at the time there were plenty seats in there cause it was like already 10:00 on a Tuesday morning. And the owner came out told us to leave. He was like pointing at us and then pointed out side and say “you can’t sit here”. Obviously he assumed we can’t understand any English because we look Asian and he believed if he speaks louder people will understand him. But seriously? You are telling your own customer to go away while you have nearly the whole shop vacant. There was another family just came in and they were like couldn’t believe this happened. So, guys, be careful when you buy take away coffee or food there since you have to leave immediately, like real fast, otherwise the owner will tell you off.

We came from USA, Ohio, to visit our son. Feel in love with this place. Great food, coffee and staff. Look forward to coming back for another great Long Black and Latte! Thanks for great tasty food!

Great simple food, decent coffee, excellent prices. Thankfully this non-hipster cafe lives on in a hipster world. A pity the barista single-handedly herds customers away in droves. The remainder of the staff are lovely, but the sheer rudeness of the barista leaves a terribly bitter aftertaste.

The man presumably the owner is so rude. He splashed coffee on me and doesn't even say sorry. Where is your manners?! Then he places my coffee on the counter and doesn't even tell me it's mine and has a conversation with another customer. And I had to ask him if that's mine. And the lady who was cooking at that time, she dropped a spatula or something on the floor and picked it up and placed it back onto the heated stove. I looked at her cause I saw what she did and she was avoiding eye contact with me. Overall, this place is unhygienic and extremely poor customer service.

Good for sandwiches, toasties and coffee. Good service, most of the time they are on the ball and know what's going on. Started going back there again recently as my ex-girlfriend used to attend the cafe and hated being in the same room as her.

They make a great coffee here using Toby's Estate coffee and comes at a reasonable $3.20. They stock Toby's Estate keep cups too. They stock some lovely little vegan packaged treats but otherwise just your standard salads, bacon and eggs, sandwiches, etc.

Horrible service! Waited 10mins to be served. I wanted to buy a container of their dish without rice and was happy to pay extra. First the lovely lady said it would be $2 extra and I was happy to pay more. The owner then came over and said its premium beef and that it needs to be more than $2 extra. I said thats fine, just let me know how much more. He ignored me.. just went on and on about the quality of the meet and after repeating my question he said he cannot tell me until he knows how much there would be left over after giving me a box and that it can't be $2 more. I had enough of his attitude and just walked out.

Poor quality coffee to be honest. The barista has no idea how to do milk properly. Also ordered a burger, came with no paddy. WTF does not even begin to describe this place.

Nice cafe with friendly staff. Various choices of yummy food. Good coffee. Worth to come back again.
