Cafe Max - Spanish cuisine at its finest. Patatas Bravas as tapas starter is a universal favourite, along with the Estrella beer is hard to beat. The service waitresses are efficient and personable and very attentive. A great selection of tasty dishes, pork, lamb, beef and vegetarian including artichokes, leeks and aubergine. Something for everyone in an Iberian atmosphere. Wide selection of Spanish wine, sangria,as well as usual kiwi beverages. Good sweet desert selection. Open and airy inside, suitable for family. Reasonable prices and would gladly make another visit.

If you like Spanish food this is a great place to...great tapas, watch the food being cooked in front of you and on Sunday there is live Spanish guitar entertainment.

4 tapas between 2 people is a good amount. Portions are not overly small. Varied selection of dishes. All very tasty. Dont miss the roughed fries. Service is attentive. Crème brûlee delectable. Wine selection not on par with the rest of the menu.
