The food was fabulous. Prompt friendly service. I'd definitely go back there if I visit Kaikoura again. We sat outside and had a lovely view over the beach and sea.
Stopped by here in the Autumn of 2019 after taking the Bluebridge overnight ferry for a quick bite before our Whale Watch tour which was unfortunately cancelled due to the big swells that had also affected our crossing of the Cook Straight earlier that morning. Had the Eggs on Toast, which was a nice tummy filler.
Clean, pleasant cafe with healthy salads for lunch. Attached shop has a good selection of clothes, woolens and gifts

Definitely worth a stop - just for the food! Delicious scrambled eggs, good coffee and super tasty chocolate and raspberry muffins!
I had breakfast and lunch here. The place is bright and fresh. I had a seafood chowder for lunch.... Superb and a vegetarian hot breakfast. It was cold and raining so we are inside. The Cafe and gift shop were humming
