Had lunch here two days in a row, food looks great, tastes normal. Good sitting area and great atmosphere. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Good menu choices but not for a big eater as not big meals or sizes. Food wasn’t hot both days. Either one meal was gone cold or the other. 😐

Went here twice in the last week for a late lunch both times. One time was busy with a long line of people waiting patiently in line to place their orders and the other time it wasn't busy but soon became busy! Food is average, could be tastier & portion size is small. Wraps & buns are short on fillings and salads could use herbs or more spices to be a bit tastier. The salads I saw mostly contained two or three ingredients and there were vegan options too. Sweet eats/treats were expensive for what one got and weren't anything special. The almond croissant looked lovely but was disappointingly stodgy. One time they somehow got our order wrong so we had to wait again. Beautiful clean bathrooms, really friendly staff, option of eating outside under umbrellas or inside. Lovely tasteful decor. Ambience is awesome.

Service was fine. Big breakfast was good but poached eggs way overcooked. No runny yolk. Needed more seasoning. Chicken burger..for nearly $20 way too much sauce and a tiny bit of chicken. There was more pickle than chicken. Taste was ok. Overall average but probably won't go back.

It's a bit too busy for me but that's just my personal preference. Jo behind the counter is brilliant! The coffee is not strong enough and the wait is just too long. There seems to be a lot of staff but little efficiency. Tables take quite some time to be cleared and the young staff seem to be in holiday mood. Luckily the coffee is the cheapest in town for locals!!! Love local prices!

Quite a good range of cakes, focaccia and more at relatively high prices. There are vegan options available, and staff were happy to answer questions about the food. The location provides a great view of Lake Taupo, with outdoor seating a nice place to relax.
