Cafe at the Hyatt.

We 3 had the absolute pleasure dining at the Hyatt Cafe for a Festive Lunch today. Chef Adrian was amazing and ensured I did not receive any Olive Oil allergy in/on my three course meal, even baking a separate meal for me. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A big thank you to all the staff, including Imelda and Jose. We loved our festive lunch and it was great value, highly recommend.

The food was decent gravy was cold service was bad. Food took an extremely long time to arrive hour and a half and the waiter didn’t even approach our table we were the first few in when it opened until we went and sought them out. Cauliflower was not cooked at all, and even though the waiter told us they would bring broccoli, it literally never came. Desserts also took an extremely long time to arrive, and when we told the waiter they told us it would arrive in ~3 minutes. Suffice to say it did not. I would not recommend this place to anyone if this is the regular level of service.

So I was at the restaurant for a function. Food was good overall, I wouldn't say that it was extraordinary but it was decent. I don't know how much each meal costs, so I won't be able to give an opinion whether it's good value for what you pay for.

Most enjoyable night. Food was delicious and a large choice of dishes. The staff were fantastic and always quick to help out. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

December 2018: we enjoyed a family festive celebration with service that was patient and professional - thanks! Wheelchair accessible and our special needs accommodated with minimum fuss and maximum hospitality and the food was delicious.

Tasty and fresh food. Buffet range not as extensive as Burswood but was adequate. Staff were very polite and helpful. Would gladly visit again.

We had the buffet dinner. Started with oysters, crab and prawns - all very good. Then moved on to roast pork with super crisp crackling, roast potatoes and various vegetables. My friend had a selection of desserts which she enjoyed. We washed the meal down with an excellent bottle of red. Service was efficient and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We went here for our Christmas lunch for work and it was wonderful. It was actually surprisingly quiet when we were there despite being do close to Christmas. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient. An amazing range of desserts and lots of selection of hot and cold food, salads, seafood and plenty of vegetable options.

I celebrated my Birthday there in late July. Service was 5-star, staff were all very nice and accommodating. Great choice of food and deserts. Special thanks to a chef on a seafood & salad section. As I am pregnant she was very caring and helped me to choose safe and well-cooked seafood and explained what else in the restaurant was safe to eat for pregnant. Top service! Looking forward to be back!

All on the table enjoyed their meals. My Pizza was very nice. Staff were attentive & friendly, But need training on how to serve meals/drink came in from left to right. Meals took a bit long to arrive then we expected considering how many people were there at the time once order was placed. It is acceptable for mobility impaired colon but not from the street you've got to drive up the driveway be dropped off and then the person has to park. Parking is available on site at cost Street parking is available a typical for the city you have to pay depending on the time of the day.

Went here for Christmas lunch, $155 a head, you expect to pay a lot for Christmas day. Look the food wasn't terrible, but was disappointing given the price and the day. Several dishes from the advertised menu were not included and not replaced by anything else. For a high end buffet, the choice was at the barest minimum. Service was basically not existent. It took ages just to get some water, let alone order any drinks. Plates were not being cleared from the table leaving us in the awkward position of either eating with a pile of dirty plates on the table or putting the plates on a nearby ledge, not a nice thing to have to do I think they cut themselves too thin staffwise, they needed to bring on more casual staff heaps of uni students happy to get the work. Overall very disappointing
