Amazing restaurant, there is a great array of vegetarian dishes.
Just had the eggplant bean curd dish with steamed rice which was delicious.    
Rice paper rolls always have fresh ingredients and are not just filled with noodles and bean shoots.
Vietnamese pancake is another great favourite as is the vegetarian green curry dish.
Such yummy food, have never disappointed. 
Staff are always polite and helpful.

I ordered the beef phở and while it had the correct flavours and beef was standard, the noodles disintegrated as it couldn’t stand the heat of the soup. 

I advised a waiter who was informed by the chefs that unfortunately that’s the way their food is, i.e. noodles can’t stand the stock heat etc. 

This is poor form. One would think you would procure better noodles so that at the very least, your customer can eat it - I couldn’t eat it with chopsticks or a spoon!! 

What irks me is that they accepted this as standard so obviously there’s no pride in what they dish out to customers. 

There’s no point arguing with people that has low standards and don’t want to improve their services. I’ll just let people know and won’t go ever again.

Great food at amazing prices. So many choices for meat lovers AND vegetarians. An extensive wine list too (rare in Viet. restaurants) you can't go past the Viet. pancake, rice paper rolls and the green curry. House made dipping sauces (divine) and curry pastes are outstanding. Staff are adorable. Do it.

One of the best Vietnamese/Thai restaurants I've eaten at. The emphasis is on Vietnamese dishes, but with some Thai and Malay accents as well.

The locals recognise the restauranteur as she goes every morning to the market for fresh produce to make her amazing dishes.

I had the vegetarian Laksa, which was absolutely delicious. It had some lime leaves and Vietnamese  spices which made it an interesting take on the Malay classic. The broth was so tasty I finished the bowl, which was piled high with perfectly cooked fresh vegetables and silky tofu. 

I'm really looking forward to eating here again. The prices are very low, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is memorably delicious.

If you can find an excuse to be in Johnston Street at lunchtime, give it a try.

I my personal opinion, it's the best Vietnamese cuisine in Melbourne. Great service, awesome menu and very friendly. I would rate it 6 Stars 😊
