Was here over 3 years ago with my late mother (I live in Melbourne). She liked coming here for breakfast when she lived off Victoria Ave and on occasion when she was in the Nursing home. The service and food is still a comfortable and consistent experience. Many same faces front of house all these years. They remembered me with a nod, in fact one has just come up to chat with me. OK back to this review. The nice feature of the cafe that it is an elevated island in the middle of the ground floor at Chatswood Chase. It gives you sense of separation from the shops and shoppers that circle it, like a oasis. Meals are well presented and satisfying. Great place to seek rest and sustenance after shopping.

This little cafe has the best fare in the Chase. The Mezze plate is very tasty as are their melts. The choice of pasta is also special For an easy lunch or just a coffee and chat, you can't go past C1 Cafe and Brasserie.

Extremely rude staff with glacial speed in food and coffee preparation. It’s mid afternoon and the place is more than half empty and yet the we waited more than 15 minutes to get coffee and let along any signs of food. P.S. every single staff looks like they are hating being here ....

Mediocre spot to seek mall respite. But it’s in a mall, so what can you really expect? Slow service, at times rude, husband’s wagyu beef burger was hard and over cooked and the seeded bun was rock hard. I had the chicken crepe which was smothered in cheese so any sin was quite covered up.
