Small store friendly staff decent variety of stock easily accessible
Very average selection of beers dominated by faux-craft like Four Pines and Woolies' own clandestine attempts at frankly garbage craft beer like Crony and Sail & Anchor. Wine and spirit selection is fair. Staff are always nice.
Warm nice and friendly staff were you feel welcome when you walk in the store. It is a small store in Newtown. It does not have a huge range of wines compared to other bottle shops in the area of Newtown. There prices are on par compared to other bottle shops in the area. They do have good speacils which seem to run out if stock quickly. I certainly will be back to this bottle shop in the future !!!!
Love the staff here; lots of great well read and researched opinions which i enjoy and genuine care for customers which is hard to come by recently. Alex blonde curly hair in particular is great and always has personal opinions which leave me with great assurance that my options are backed up from personal experience
Super down to earth and friendly staff. Nice vibes in this shop. Felt like everyone buying grog about to head for a good night out. Those nice pre drink vibes.i would probably hang out in the shop a while just to chat and enjoy the atmosphere. Also bought some very well priced vodka which had a whole $11 off the price. What a decent sale! Yay.
Rudest, most unhelpful staff.
Decent selection, good prices, Covid safe
My partner and I came in together and greeted the staff, to which no reply. We picked out our drinks and headed to the counter. The staff member who served us asked for our ID’s and as my partner was pulling out both of our ID’s I had no pockets or a bag on me so he was carrying mine, the server repeatedly asked for ‘both our id’s’, raising his voice louder each time. I explained that he was getting them both out. After we paid we weren’t offered a bag or a receipt. This experience has left both my partner and I unsatisfied with the ‘customer service’.
I shop here regularly. I like it. I wish they had more variety though, so you could get certain click and collect items.
