The Burrunju Art Gallery provides a consignment service for the marketing, sale and leasing of Aboriginal art and artefacts
Burrunju operates to provide members of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community with culturally appropriate programs to improve resilience and wellbeing, meaningful and sustainable employment, the passing on of culture and heritage to our younger generations, as well as providing the wider Australian community with insights into our heritage through our art displays and cultural activities and programs.
The Burrunju Art Gallery's mission is to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with the opportunity to realize their dreams of self-determination by providing an avenue for selling their art
