A pleasant 15min walk from my mum's at Penguin Parade, its the best Fish & Chips shop I have. Cod and snapper is the best of the lot, & their chips are amazing! Enjoyed the sit in & eat... comfortable.
Super soggy battered fish. Went for the dory and it was a good portion but left most as the batter was terrible. The salmon special was excellent! The salads also pretty good which is why a 4 star and not a two star. Normally there battered fish here is good but today was disgusting.
Over years best fish and chips on Gold Coast in my eyes but last few times not impressed anymore I ordered grilled barramundi and got basa on receipt had barramundi Chips are soggy and getting orders wrong and forgetting items also got salt instead of chicken salt I ordered there just inconsistent anymore like they used to be.Recommended dishesCalamari Rings and Chips, Potato Scallop, Flathead & Chips
I have been going here for years travelling from Benowa to Northern Rivers and always buying fresh fish, cooked fish, sea scallops and potato scallops plus pineapple fritters plus drinks. Today my scallops 8 of them were just a mess. Stuck to paper and falling apart very disappointed at the mess like you don't care anymore. My pineapple fritters were crumbed not battered as asked and burnt dark brown. We have a lot of fish shops we have tried but always come back to you spending $50 to $70 a time. It's a shame to lose that twice a week.
Best fish and chips! Fresh and crispy, not oily/ greasy. We ordered the family pack today and we had so much food we had enough to take home, salads are delicious. Definitely will be back.
This is our favourite spot for fish n chips when we come to Burleigh. It’s usually a reasonable wait time, even during the sunny weekend days of the summer. Today we waited 20 minutes for lunch and we had a large order too. The fish is super fresh, I love getting barramundi. The chips are really good too. Been here a few times and it’s always top notch. The servings are considerable in size too.
Best Seafood in our opinion. Fresh seafood not out of a box but fresh! We had cod and chips. The cod was huge. White, fresh fish. Walked over to the beachfront to eat it. Place has been in Burleigh forever. That speaks for itself.Food: 5/5

We lined up for around 15 minutes and pre ordered Christmas seafood 1 week prior to pickup Christmas Eve. When I arrived Christmas Eve to pickup, I waited 10 minutes in line to find out my order was not ready. It took the guy about another 10 minutes to pick 3 items while others were picking up their ready orders? Prawns and Bugs were good but unfortunately on 3 good oysters out of the dozen.
