Fantastic. I'll admit that I had limited expectations for my optical check a BUPA Bondi for new December Glasses. But i was very surprised and happy. Tracy Tran was - phenomenal . Personally engaging, funny and willing to take the time to explain things to me - even pause to have a closer look at a particular scan. I felt she was thorough but efficient. I am not one for needless smoke blowing, but Tracy was amazing and restored my faith in insurer based optometrists.
Terrible services. First time experience. I waited for 2 weeks on a special order which turns out being a broken pair. I waited for another 1 week to call up for an update and was told the order was under delivery, waited for another 1 week and was told there was no request of the order. Also, when shopping, I was told the guaranteed period is 2 ys, and when collecting the order, I was told the guaranteed period is 1yr. I have no problem with the policy but the faulty info is confusing. Definitely not a pleasant experience. Upside outlook might be the new manager will bring some changes in the future. Update from above written yesterday - it s the worst of worst. Yesterday, the new manager agreed to post the purchase to my address and send me the tracking number, which she failed. So I have to call the shop again today, and was told there is no purchase registered in my profile. The guy told me there is nothing much he can do. He saw nothing in the system and he's afraid the order was not ordered in fact. It spent me one hour sitting online and talking to two different sales to figure it out. The service is worst of the worst I have ever experienced. Forgive me for not being able to understand the difficulties the store staff are dealing with. It must be in a scale beyond imagination...
I had my eye test for contact refresh yesterday with Tracey Tran. I then went about my day and when I got home I said to my husband: wow the lady that did my eye test was really really good. I’ve had probably around 20 eye tests or more in my life, and I realised it was the first time I’ve ever felt satisfied/ felt no doubt after an eye test. As the review below me said, Tracey was thorough and efficient. That really sums up my experience. She really wanted to make sure I got the right prescription, and ohmygod I just wanna thank her for a very pleasant experience. I’m normally very detailed and I always feel like I have to annoy the person doing my eye test just so I can be sure all that need to be done have been done. But I didn’t have to do that with Tracey, she made the process so easy and enjoyable for me. She seems like a very nice person to. PS: I created this google account for privacy
Terrible customer service, never go there again, should be no star. Ordered a reading glasses, got back a normal glasses, 1 week later got the replacement reading glasses which didn't even fit in the frame properly, went back 4th time to ask for another replacement, and also asked them to post it back to me once done, since the parking at Westfield Bondi junction was impossible during Xmas time. 5 weeks later, nothing happens, no glasses, no call, no message. Went there 5th time, my glasses was sitting on their services desk all this time with a sticker says send by post. Basically no one cares about customer service at this Bupa optical Bondi junction at all.
Went there for the first time, sat through a long process with the receptionist to register all my details. The Optometrist interrupted the conversation and was super aggressive about medicare card having expired and me needing to pay for the gap. I have no problem paying the difference but not for rudeness and hostility. I didn’t go through with the appointment
Terrible service. Here they need more staff, waiting so long to pick up the glasses supposed to be here 2 weeks ago! I said the staff just I would like to pick up the glasses but they didn’t care and make me wait till the end
Did my eye test and contact fit test there with Chris. He is very professional, conducted a thorough test for my eyes. Micro scope check, 3D photos etc. And he recommended a brand of contact that fits my eye shape perfectly~ I’m using Bupa insurance, price ended up very good. Very pleasant experience.
Been going for a 3-4 years. They are thorough with eye tests. No pressure to buy the upmarket frames. Very transparent with costs/gap. They send you texts for appointments and when glasses are ready. My last two pairs of reading glasses and including eye tests have both been under $30 as a bupa member.
Very bad customer service. The optometrist is the best person they have, polite and knowledgeable. The manager doesn't know how to deal with sales... The prices are higher then the other Opticians even though you get $90 more from Bupa... They don't stop what they doing display or cleaning the selves, to help you... It's a disappointing shopping experience inside the Westfield Bondi Junction
Horrible customer service, my partner booked an appointment almost a month ago for the eye test. He decided to buy the glasses and paid $333 upfront for the glasses and the remaining $250 has to be paid when we pick up the glasses. He was suppose to get contacted within 14 days to pick them up. The weeks passed by and we haven't heard from them back yet. We both tried to call them and email multiple times, but no response at all. Leaving voice messages in the voicemail to please call us back, no contact yet. It is now 1 MONTH LATER and we haven't heard back from them. My partner and I work long hours during the week and are not around during the weekends. We don't live in Bondi area so our time to visit the location is very limited. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE! WE WANT A FULL REFUND.
