Happy to say it's much improved from years back. Staff are always helpful, friendly and welcoming. Staff also very knowledgeable and great at finding solutions to tricky projects.

Being a small town is great being too find almost everything you need in 1 place. Friendly staff.
Good selection of products. Plants need a bit more care and water in warmer weather - many punnets of seedlings were wilted. Checkout person was more interested in talking to other staff member than engaging with customers
It's not the biggest store so don't go thinking the range is huge, however the staff are excellent and will sort you out or do their best to get what you need in.
Highly recommended. Customer service was amazing. The staff will go above and beyond to help their customers. Huge thanks to their staff member Julie. She is a true asset to the Bunnings Warehouse team in Whangamata.
mel was so amazing with helping me out! <3 i had no idea what I was doing with wood measurements and cutting lol but she was more than willing to step in and give me a hand. i really appreciated her friendliness and help!
