Decided to take a drive to Bunjil Place Library one day, to my surprise this library is fairly modern, and spacious. It has lots of open spaces for people to wonder around, plenty of rooms for people to sit down and read books. However, a lot of these places are dedicated for young people like teenagers. If you are old or have very young kids, you may not like this type of arrangement. At the kids section, the seats are designed like a capsule, pretty unique. The only thing I don't like about those seats are, it can get pretty dark inside the "capsule". Thus, it can be bad for the little one's eyes. Just outside the library, at Bunjil place building, they have 24 emblems, which you can download an app to capture. At the moment, you can't do much with those emblems yet, but the lady at the gallery said when the app is updated, I can use those collected emblems to build a virtual city. Overall, I enjoy Bunjil Place Library, but it is not a place for everyone.

I love the new upgraded library looks very modern and the views from some areas are gorgeous. However a few suggestions to help improve this library. -As a uni student I need quiet study areas, which this library does not cater for. There are always teenagers or kids around having loud conversations and laughing/yelling especially right after school. It does not help that the conference rooms which can be quiet areas to study are always booked out by private groups which forces people to study in the open areas. -The third level should be encouraged to be the quiet level, and if groups which to study together loudly they should be encouraged to go to the bottom two levels. -There are many tables that are much lower (the height of a coffee table) and I have seen many students forced to study in awkward/painful positions when using them, the space could be used better by placing higher tables which will increase the chance of finding a table to study on. Thanks

I look forward every other day & on weekends to come to the library to study. The Place is beautifully done. However , there are uncontrollable High school kids who make so much noise even in designated silent study areas that I am unable to concentrate. It is gradually becoming a socialising place with loud music in the booked rooms at times. How much the staff reminds them to keep voices down, its still they cannot control these young adults.I suggest warning signs to keep silent in study areas may do some good.Overall the library is a magnificent place to be minus the excessive noise after 3.30 pm weekdays and during weekends.

I use the library to borrow dvd's and books The way DVDs are displayed now isn't as good, top shelf too high and face on displays were much easier for selection. Not spine only selection so much harder to pick and sort through

Great new space, staff are friendly and helpful, extremely updated, Not a good place to study as it is always noisy, try to get a meeting room if possible
