After getting a few quotes to move my owned Sea Container with household goods/belongings from Melbourne to Tasmania Budget self pack were the cheapest. Emailed them on a Wednesday morning before container arrived in Melbourne they had it picked up Thursday when it arrived and to Tasmania the same day. Recent rush move from Perth to Melbourne and I was after a cost effective option as I had a car to send as well. I was quoted about $5500 for professional removalists or $2300 for a budget self pack container. You still need to wrap, pack and box up everything for both options but if you don't mind playing a game of Tetris with your house contents to fit everything in then this is the option for you. You get 10 large moving cloths which protects your heavy furniture against the container walls getting damaged by friction by the train movement. I used multiple rachet straps in a X orientation every quarter of the way to prevent movement leading to possible damage. Best advice I can give is use bubble wrap and shrink wrap for your furniture and anything that can't go into a cardboard box. I got everything out in Melbourne with no breakages and I only had a slight scuff on a book shelve that wasn't covered adequately enough. The service from budget self pack containers was exceptional, great communication throughout the whole process. Container delivery drivers professional and carefully place the container to prevent driveway damage and made sure it was level so the doors open easily. I would recommend them very highly for anyone wanting to do their own interstate move on a budget.

I recently moved from Perth to Sydney and needed a quick seamless move as time and resources were tight. Budget Self Pack containers provided this and more. The hassle free container system was fantastic, you get a couple of days to pack the container in your own pace and you then seal it with your own Padlock. All agreed times of container drop off and pick up were adhered to and the service was friendly and helpful.

We have had a great experience with Budget Self Pack Containers, in moving a house full of furniture and possessions from Adelaide to Perth. We dealt mainly with Courtney, but everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful, and all communications were clear and comprehensive. Our delivery driver, Steve from Two Dogs Towing Transport in Adelaide was also excellent, and manged to squeeze the container neatly into a narrow driveway, with not much room and a big tree in the way. He did a great job. Our container arrived in Perth in perfect condition and was delivered and picked up efficiently, and also by a really great driver (sorry I don't have his name or company). Overall, we are really happy we chose Budget Self Pack, and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Great job. : )
